As you probably know, all people are divided into two categories - those who love cats, and those who prefer dogs. We agree that cute cats are what the internet has been based on since the beginning of the world, but doggos are still our one true love. In general, people have always glorified dogs with great pleasure.
For example, like the creators of this popular Twitter page called Cool Dog Facts, who really collect interesting and thought-provoking facts about dogs' lives and their friends, accompanying them with cool pictures.
The motto of the blog, which has garnered almost 150K followers in around ten years of existence, is "Wag More. Bark Less". We do believe this motto perfectly captures the true nature of wonderful doggos.
Bored Panda created a curated list with the best of this page for you - isn't it great? We are sure that even the toughest cat lovers will shed tears of tenderness.

How you treat animals and how you treat staff. Always be nice to janitors, cleaning and cantine workers, cashiers...
Most people really like their dogs more than most people. In the end, who else is able to love their owner like Hachiko, be as selfless as Balto - and people always reciprocate to their devoted friends.
After all, the friendship of people and dogs is one of the main themes in world culture. Dorothy and Toto, Wallace and Gromit, Cruella de Ville... well, not exactly a good example, let's remember Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo, then.
There was a time where I adopted dogs that needed hospice care. There are people that cannot afford treatments and leave them at shelters because they think they have a better chance. There are charities that can help with this , don't let your dog pass away without his person.
When our own dog passes my wife and I want to do this.

He finally did an exploratory abdominal and called during it, said he'd never seen anything like it, every organ was bright red. We told him to let her stay asleep. To this day I wish we had gone just to hold her one last time. Have to stop now, hard to see with the tears. She left us 3 years ago.
My Shilo is 8 next month and my love for him in infinite and grows more so every day. He is always there for me and looks after me in his own way. He fills my life with love and laughter and I am always grateful for all that he is. Their love for us gets stronger, but so does our love for them.
Senior human, senior pet. Shelters will offer discount rates & perks not only to seniors adopting an older animal, but anyone in general. The human gets a well-behaved, housebroken pet, & the pet gets a new forever home. Win-win.
Okay, he may not be small anymore, but my 22yo dog is still soft and fluffy. And the sweetest dog in the world, I'm sure of that.
My dog is 15, and his medication is so expensive that I have no money left for myself after the usual expenses. And it's still worth it.
we don't deserve dogs! please love them to the very end because they will love you to the very end.
I'm loving my 9 year old Redbone C**n Dog right now. She spent months in a shelter because even though she's full Redbone, she hates to be cold and is afraid of guns; she failed hunting dog 101 so no one wanted her, until me. She adores and and I adore her back.
This makes my heart melt and tears of love for all my older doggies I lost.
Same goes for humans too, you know. Our elders are a blessing, treasure them while they’re around.
My Norwegian Forest Cat mix Gizzy turned 18 years old today, his patchwork brofur Thori, a shorthaired Maine C**n mix, will turn 15 on July the 30th, #SeniorPetsRock, of course both of them are adopted.
Dogs do occupy a special place in our lives - because they, unlike people, are not capable of betrayal. As one wise man used to say, "The more I get to know men, the more I love dogs."
Cynologists believe that a dog always chooses a person for itself as the leader of its own pack. The wolf past still shows up, even if your dog is neither the size nor the appearance of a wolf.
Remember Robinson Crusoe - when he got to a desert island, long before he met his only human friend, Friday, he regretted more than once that at least one dog was not with him at the moment.
According to the legends of many nations, all dogs definitely go to heaven after their death, and then, when time comes for their owner to pass away, the dog leads a person across the rainbow bridge leading to paradise, easing the burden of his sins.
Indeed, a dog does not care whether you are a successful person or not, how much money you earn or what kind of car you've got. It will stay with you in joy and sorrow, and will do its best to make you feel good, because you are its best friend.
And so does yours. Never understood that until I had my first rescue.
Also, if you're prepared for and committed to getting a dog, please adopt from a shelter. If you're going to be gone 10 hours a day for work, get a cat.
We'd love your comments and your best dog stories too, but if you're an orthodox cat fan, check out this recent "Klepto Cat" story. Or, for the neutrals, our dandy selection of raccoon memes. And the creators of the Cool Dog Facts blog for sure will continue delighting us with new facts - and new doggos.
I knew it was silly, but I felt guilty "replacing" my dog. I got a rescue and it felt like honoring my dog- not replacing her.
Don't need studies to know that... I've nested a pup in my hair, doesn't matter what anyone says, I'm still his mum. And he's my furever baby.
Our little rescue girl smiles. It’s so lovely, her dad comes home and she’s up on the sofa smiling at him. She also grins when she’s asleep. She’s too gorgeous!
German proverb: "Daß mir der Hund das Liebste sei, sagst du, o Mensch, sei Sünde? Der Hund blieb mir im Sturme treu, der Mensch nicht mal im Winde." (translates mostl to "Men say it's a sin I prefer dogs over their kin, but dog stayed at my side in a storm while men left me during the breeze.")
Step 2: be owned by a nice person. Sadly not all dogs have a nice home. 😔
Doesn't apply to Australian Cattle Dogs! They need SO much physical and mental stimulation!
The best part of my day is coming home and seeing my dog's feet dancing with excitement under the curtain. All that for me. That's love.
Rescue dogs are amazing. I had two rescue pitties. One has sadly passed but the other is still with us.

On a lighter note here is a picture of the ONLY way Pitbulls should fight. pitbull-fi...f6414c.jpg
See! This is why I keep saying that crimes against dogs should be like crimes against people! Someone steals your dog, they should be punished for kidnapping - not "property theft." It should be the equivalent of murder when police come onto your property without warning and shoot your dog because you weren't given the opportunity to safely restrain it. It should be treated like child abuse when you beat a your dog or drop it in the middle of nowhere. My dogs are the sweetest beings I could ever hope to know... they're my babies... and if something were ever to happen to them, my whole world would be crushed. Why shouldn't people be punished to the degree of the heartbreak they cause? Seriously.
I love my cat dearly, but after I lost my Lucy Loo, I just couldn't get another dog. Seeing this, I realize how much I'd love one again, but where I'm moving I can't because it's a sheep farm and it's working dogs only. No, I can be friends with them. They're there to "work". But I love my kitty like crazy.
