Hungarian Chef Turns Ordinary Cookies Into Stunning Embroidery-Inspired Art
Feeling hungry? Happen to be in Hungary? Then head to Mézesmanna, a cake-decorating shop that makes what might just be the most amazing cookies you’ve ever seen. The only problem is, you won’t want to eat them. No. You’ll want to put them in a frame and hang them on your wall. Because these are no ordinary cookies. These cookies are art.
Pastry chef and artist Judit Czinkné Poór is the Leonardo da Vinci of the cookie world. Working from Mézesmanna, her cake-decorating shop in Ajka, there seems to be no limit to what she can do with cookies. From complex Hungarian patterns to more contemporary designs, Judit uses her skills as a porcelain painter to take her work to a whole new level. And believe it or not, she’s only been doing it since 2014. How does she do it?
“practice, practice, practice,” she says. I think we’ll be practicing for a very long time!

No. This is impossible. I've tried so many times to decorate gingerbread and I wasn't even able to make a straight line

Beyond beautiful!! Each one is a piece of art! Seriously too good to eat!
Whyyyyyy?????? Don't waste your talent on cookies that will eventually be eaten or decompose! Put it on something worthwhile that will last forever, these are way too beautiful to just waste away.
What kind of icing is that? Whenever I attempt at that it globs up and slides off! :(
I would NOT eat these cookies because they are a piece of ART. So for me, these cookies are so beautiful they should not be eaten.
These are SO beautiful! :3 I would love to try and pipe designs like those, but... I can barely pipe lines, much less perfect flowers!

Absolutely gorgeous. I don't have the desire to have one to eat. I think I would hang it on the wall or prop it up on the mantle. It's just too much stunning artwork not to keep and admire.
My late Great Grandma would have loved to try this. And she was Hungarian. She also drew and embroidered floral patterns.

they look exactly like the Hungarian embroideries my relatives brought me from Hungary! I've always admired the intricate patterns and the skill of the needlework. Not something I could ever do!
The work that was put into these cookies is amazing. I could never do this, so to imagine the dedication and precision this chef has is remarkable. ~AM
I believe the blue fingernails and the name Judit (Judith, Judy) makes this pastry artist a woman.
