The street artist Dran, born in Toulouse in 1979, is frequently called The French Banksy. These two artists share a critical view of society, power figures and are not afraid to expose their beliefs publicly.

"My father wanted me to work with him in construction, but since my arms are too thin to hold a hammer, I dedicated myself to the drawing," said the artist.

Dran mainly creates paintings, drawings and graffiti art all over France. With his art, he addresses important current issues such as the powers of the authority, sexual harassment, internet addiction, exaggerated media and many more.

I had a teacher who would shout at me "WALK WITH YOUR BACK STRAIGHT" every time I arrived at school, in front of everyone. I was a shy, skinny kid and we were forced to carry a bag full of books from and back to school almost everyday because every teacher had homework for us. One day I became so enraged, I screamed back at him: "DO YOU WANT TO HOLD MY BAG, SEE HOW MUCH IT WEIGHTS? MAYBE YOU CAN CARRY IT FOR ME!" Not only did I not get scolded, he did not bother me anymore. We had so much homework and zero free time after class, and all the weight they put on our backs… It's not healthy for the kids. This illustration is so accurate, sure brought back memories :)

The problem with this art is that it says that people aren't even allowed to THINK. It also depicts the idea that only men think like this. If that is the case, then why to thousands of women attend those Chippendale-like shows every year? Thoughts, even if wrong, are not harmful to others. It is when people take action based on those thoughts that the trouble begins. We need freedom of thought but control over our own actions.

Actually, my comment was, this is fine as long as it remains a thought and not an action.

It does. The difference is, most women keep their comments in their mind, and don't get angry when the man isn't flattered by their comments. They also don't assume the man is their RIGHT to have, as some men assume they have the right to touch/grab/molest/assault any woman they see. I don't see all men like that. There are PLENTY of good men who don't act that way.

Men do the same thing women do all the time, just because there are outliers means nothing, women can be just as bad as men if not worse and men can be worse, it depends on a lot of factors, not whether you're male or female.

Judging by the comments, we're entering a PC time where even looking is forbidden. I'd hate to be a man in today's society. Whatever you do can be misconstrued as sexual harassment.

Women are guilty of this also. Anytime people wear skin tight clothing they are at danger of being ogled. Actually ogling has been going on for time unknown! People have a hard time remembering we are animals and we have a driving urge to mate at certain ages and ogling is part of this. Yes, both men and women need to learn to control their urges. How many of us have taught our children not to ogle? We've a long way to go as humans and this is just scratching the surface of that subject.

Ogling has been going on since humans grew eyeballs. I personally don't think it's too much of a problem as long as you don't get creepy with catcalling and stalking.

It's not the same, but you can still make the person uncomfortable if done in a creepy way. Someone looking quickly is okay, but some people stare in this creepy way that makes you feel very uncomfortable - those moments are different. You know how the vibes you get from a creepy person is different from ones you get from a "regular" person who has respect and boundaries for others? Some people have no boundaries and they be creepin'

THIS IS BOTH WAYS!!! We need to stop blaming men for groping women so much because a lot of us are big girls and are able to smack a hand every now and then. The women being traded as a peace offering by gangs ARE being sexually abused. Women are just as bad, if a women is so much as called "darling" then a man can be tackled. A women can grope a man and he will be told to "get over it" not all women are overreacting and aren't treated properly but those claims are diluted by the stupid ones. Grow up.

I am a man, and I would have to disagree with the part of your statement that a woman is strong enough to stand up and slap a hand away now and then. There is no instant where a guy grabbing at a girl at some random time would be acceptable. I may look, and get caught looking. I would never, and no man or woman should ever think that they should have to put up with an idiot trying to cop a feel. Just saying.

I wish it wasn't so but I observe it every day - being a people watcher it is kind of depressing how many times a day you see this. I get the male/female attraction thing but had an ex partner explain to me once that to assist in w***ing he would conjure up a person he might have driven past and checked out that day or day before - it is really quite depressing. Imagine someone doing that look to your brain! Is the content and intelligence and sex appeal of a personality not sexy? Well for me - a man's eyes and brain is such a turn on. The soul - that is something a person can work on - the rest is genetic randomness.

This topic is dangerous. It is exactly the same as racism. So women can look but not touch, they can dress sexy and appealing, but still it is forbidden to watch them. "passive rape" or whatever. So sexist and the racist people are these that are allegedly discriminated, because the no body says anything about women looking at men. Why is this picture drawn in this way?

Not trying to be controversial but sometimes we need those little outs to be able to survive. Yes, it's important to know the state of our world, but you also need the little things to make you happy. If we constantly focus on the negative and the horrible things, depression will start kicking in. It's the sanity in the insane.

I don't think the point of this illustration is that he's "wasting" his job time on art, or that art is not needed..... but that there are so many talented people who cannot pay for proper education that can boost their talent, and their needs are so many that they have to just put their talent aside and "get a job to pay the rent".
