Jan Siemen is a graphic designer from Cologne, Germany. The artist creates colorful, conceptual vector illustrations as a hobby for his graphic service company Sons of Ipanema. “I needed a little change so I created a few illustrations and found my own drawing style and just started posting them on Instagram,” he told It's Nice That.

Jan is inspired by cartoons, surrealism and tends to play with colors, textures, and shapes to create his conceptual, interest-grabbing, sometimes even punny drawing ideas. “I set up shapes and forms, colors, lights, and shades in Illustrator and add some texture and color adjustment in Photoshop,” Jan told about the creative process of his digital art.

Each of the cool drawings has different topics, but all of them share the same art style and feel. Take a look at some of his unique artworks below and vote for the best.

My phone and I are married. The champagne walks on the beach are long gone.

Very creative! Really nice and alternative concept of the meaning of leaving your footprint in this world.
