Artist Illustrates What Living In A Polyamorous Relationship Looks Like
You might think being polyamorous means endless dating and hot people all around. But with zero social skills, as the cartoonist Sara Valta describes her introverted personality, getting a girlfriend is still way too hard. In her comics, she’s trying to get her partners to do the heavy lifting for her, but with very little luck.
Sara Valta is a Finnish cartoonist who started her webcomics journey from her fantasy webcomic Alchemilla, and now she’s posting funny polyamory-related strips on her Instagram and Twitter. She also has a Patreon page dedicated to her NSFW fantasy comics.

Share on FacebookAwe these are really cute and also informative! If you want more poly comics I recommend "boyfriends." on Webtoon! It's really cute as well. I'm not personally poly but I think it's good that people are willing to expose others to different kinds of relationships in ways that aren't fetishizing or sexualizing them.
I always wondered why a relationship had to limit to TWO person and everyone else as enemies. and that they assume one of them as the absolute possession of the other. we are human and we have the capabilities to love a lot of people at one time, why would a romantic love be so limited? I always thought I didn't get it because I am Aro (I do not experience romantic attraction) and thus I would not get it. and then I found out that polyam people exists.
As long as u don't have kids I say go for it. Monogamous relationship r stable relationships for children as a family. Not all but the structure is there. I wish u all the best
Look I support poly and I think for those who it works for it’s great. I think this was cute and well written by someone who understands and loves the people they’re with. For me it didn’t work. I was married to a man for nine years who abruptly suggested poly and it destroyed our marriage. It turned out that he just wanted out, and I wasn’t comfortable with it really. I’ve been too terrified to have any lasting relationships since, or I get stuck with crazies, so while I think it’s great, people if you’ve been in a long relationship beforehand and it just pops up, consider carefully.
Monogamous relationships don't work for everyone but you don't see polyamorous people commenting about it on relationship comics.
