Humans are weird, aren't they?
From taking selfies at the gym to the way we hang out with people we actively dislike during festive periods - the quirks of human nature are all but normal -even to us. But what would aliens make of our modern world if they ended up renting an apartment here?
This was the thought process that led me to create a new Instagram webcomic exploring that very concept.
'Lessons in Humanity' comic strips follow the day-to-day life of Will as he attempts to help his roommate, an alien named Armstrong, unravel the mysteries of human society.
A mix of satirical and silly humor, this funny comic ultimately aims to showcase how mind-boggling human behavior and how bad the problems with society really are if you think about it hard enough. Below is a selection of topics the funny drawings have already touched upon, find more on the comic's official Instagram page.

Homophobia
Another significant factor in homophobia is that straight men are afraid of gay men treating them the way they treat women....
Bad Attitude
Food Production
The guys have to spread the whole field, though. The amount of chemicals they'd get directly on them would be much higher than what they're spraying on each plant, which will also be less than what we'll actually ingest.

Foreign Aid
Or sharing a picture of a starving child that says " 1 like= 1 prayer "
Homelessness
Body Image
To be fair, lost of people aren't overweight because they overeat, but because they eat poorly. Heavily processed meals full of calories and sugars are cheaper and easier.
Generally Good
It's emotional abuse when baby animals are taken from their mothers. Torture for both parties, just as it would be if someone took a baby from its mother without needing to.
Load More Replies...When you stand back at look at it, humans are some of the worst creatures ever x_x
maybe, but humans are also only creatures here, who saving another species, helping r******d or old ones, trying save this planet, etc. ...its kind of paradox, you know :)
Load More Replies...In my country and i assume we are not alone in this, every easter if you go in "farmer's market" you see hundreds of farmers selling lambs. Some are already dead and cut, some are alive but with their legs tied up, and crying. And if you buy the lamb, they will sacrifice it. I think that is torture for the animal. Also, taking a lamb or any other baby animal from its mother is torture for both the baby and the mother. The time between taking the baby from the mother and the animal being sacrificed is horrible for the animal... They are transported in huge trucks with barely no space and they are scared and cry and then are sacrificed... i think this is all torture for the poor animals...
Load More Replies...Please avoid making comments that are incorrect. There is absolutely no torture in these animals unless for a small percentage that is not indicative of the other 99% of the industry. Lambs are weaned from their mothers at an age when they can eat enough to sustain themselves (just like humans). They are then either taken into the breeding stock to live out their lives or to a feed lot to be fed and cared for. They are not abused and are medicated if they become ill. At a certain age they are then taken to a slaughter facility in which they are humanely stunned (they have no idea it is happening). It is against the Humane Methods of Livestock Slaughter for any sort of mistreatment. https://www.nal.usda.gov/awic/humane-methods-slaughter-act
You are right!!! I forgot all of us live in the USA where every animal is humanely slaughtered!
Load More Replies...So if humans have to be "generally good" we all need to starve or to become plant eaters, but then we won't be "generally good", because we are eating away the nature and all the plants, which give us air and help us not burn away by uv light. Double standard... sheesh.
We would at least be better than we are now. The animals we keep for meet eat many times more plants than we do. I'm just making up numbers now, but this is the principle: a cow eats 100kg food before it's slaughtered. That meat only feeds 10 people. Then 10kg of crops that could've fed many people now only feeds one. So you see if everyone went vegan there would also be more food, and therefore less starvation. Also being vegan is not about being perfect, it's about being as good as we can.
Load More Replies...Definitely tortured here. And anywhere where animals are kept captive.
Load More Replies...Humans, unlike other animals such as lions and sharks, do not need meat to survive. I learnt that in kindergarten, surely you know that too. We are perfectly capable of surviving on vegetables. Humans just like the taste of meat so they kill innocent creatures, babies, mothers, for their own enjoyment. If you think about it it's extremely wrong. As someone who feels intense love for all animals, including the "useless pests" like ants and mice, I find it very hard to believe that someone can call themselves an animal lover whilst frying bacon for their morning slice of toast.

This opinion is really common in some countries? Because for me is complete normal forget or ignore lot of people from my past...

A lot of these are funny, but some of them are just old recycled memes.
