Your body’s a liar. Sure, sometimes it awards you with endorphins and serotonin, but it also has a lot of fun at your expense. Weng Chen, the artist behind the funny comics of The Adventures of Messy Cow, has made a new series of cute drawings illustrating some of the dirtiest tricks her body has ever pulled on her, and it involves a lot of clothes.
“If you ever cared about weight loss, you must have heard this phrase: Don’t go shopping <...> when you are hungry,” Chen wrote. “But I need to tell you another important thing: don’t do any online shopping when you are hungry.”
Because when you’re hungry, you might get the illusion that you’ve lost weight. “I often get this illusion,” she added. “I feel my belly empty and my legs weak, [and] I associate this feeling with being THIN. Then, like a whirlwind, there comes an unstoppable urge of shopping for new cute outfits.”
“I do 90% of my shopping online,” Weng told Bored Panda. “That’s probably why a lot of the time something goes wrong.” The artist said that the emptier her stomach is, the more she relates to the models, and that’s the problem. That the empty belly she puts down her orders with gets full when she receives them. “I feel I’m more rational when I shop at the stores.”
Here are some of the fashion trends pits Weng had fallen into when she was hungry. And after you’re done enjoying these, check out her funny drawings for a fart guide that is a must read for every couple that sleeps in the same bed.

Hehe...I get reversed curves no matter how much I lose...
Load More Replies...This was funny. I totally get it. I don't have a typical body shape so I have big problems buying clothes too
I'm tall and long waisted so a body suit for me is an automatic Melvin Wedgie combo.
Load More Replies...This is so funny and true, It's like me. My slim sister looks amazing dressed head to toe in black but me being overweight if I wear all black I look like a bowling ball.
Other reality with slit skirts and even more long slit dresses: wind gets into it and makes the whole thing float up to your panties!
This is so true. I'm petite and still they never look as good as in the ads.
That's cos the ads will often use tricks to make them look better, like scrunching the material at the back to make it more figure hugging. Some of them will straight out tailor the clothes for the model.
Load More Replies...And BuzzFeed recently just posted this too. BuzzFeed is stealing from Bored Panda, or Bored Panda is stealing from BuzzFeed. Only a matter of time until it happens again.

The illustration regarding jumpsuits... I can’t imagine why anyone would want to mostly undress to use the bathroom in order to wear one!! We put snaps on the bottoms of baby jumpers so we don’t have to undress them, yet adults do it to themselves. 🤣🤣
LOL! Damn clothes. I’m giving up this winter and just living in my sweats.
This, and that I want to put my money into the local economy, and preferably into locally owned shops, is why hardly ever shop online.
I am disappointed with the mentally challenged reference. Disabled people should not be made the butt of a joke.
Respectfully, I think something was lost in translation there. The phrase she used may not be offensive its original language. I agree: mental disability is nothing to poke fun at! However, what she said in her own language could of been something as innocuous as "felt like an idiot."
Load More Replies...Half of these problems can be solved with one simple life hack: just tuck the fabric over and DO NOT HAVE KIDS.
Sounds easier than it actually is. Stop being an insensitive pig.
