Dogs Love Bacon is a weekly webcomic that follows the lives of two rescue dogs and their human. The comic came about at the end of 2020 to try and bring some cheer to readers...and keep the artist drawing. A new dog has recently joined the pack for a stay, and there are even more antics afoot. Check out my previous comics here.

We live in an old house, and periodically after we’ve turned the heat on in cold weather, a wasp will emerge from somewhere we can’t locate and start flying around inside. Our youngest cat, Tabitha, is a natural born bug tracker and catcher, who also, unfortunately, eats what she catches. I dread the day I’m not there to intervene when she starts tracking one of those off season wasps before she tries to eat it and gets stung. She’s two years old, but only the size of a half grown kitten, and just doesn’t realize that the amount of venom in a fully loaded wasp stinger could potentially do more than just give her a fat lip. We just can’t find their point of entry, and we have tried for years.

My last German Shepard did this to a skunk. One time and one time only. ;)

When I was 10 my Boxer got sprayed by a skunk. It was disgusting! I can still remember the smell 24 years later lol. And the tomato soup bath we gave him afterwards was also gross 😆

This! My oldest Jack, Toby, is the ringleader of trouble (he's also "the gentleman", but only Bc he waits so patiently for treats, doesn't mind the others eating before him and knows I'm going to reward him generously for his good behavior), and inevitably, he gets the others into messes. Like, he'll find a mud hole and get the others to play in it, but he won't and I swear he finds pleasure in our faces when we see what's happened and that he has zero mud on him.

Aww she's deaf. My parents dog is deaf but so sweet. And she understands a bit of sign language now.

Just means you love your dogs and they love you back. That’s all.

I own a reactive dog.. he was abused and dumped. He has PTSD and does not do well with strangers. Most of the kids here think I should put him down or keep him caged... You are acting like jerks.

Dropping yourself is a very common yet dangerous accident. I drop myself 24/7 lol
