That's disgusting. I wish people wouldn't look down just because they're animals. If a human had the same problem they'd get help.

There's no reason to put your doggie down. He loves & trusts you. As long as you are responsible enough to make accommodations to prevent harm to other people & their pets (& yours, of course) then your dog should be fine. Just give tons of love & time. You are your puppers whole world & outside of visits to the vet that's all furbaby needs.

I have a reactive dog as well. I just tell people. He’s reactive and aggressive - DON’T TOUCH and Don’t take it personally. Lol. My neighbor is determined to get him to like her. Lol. I told her that’s very kind of her. But don’t take it personally , it probably won’t ever happen. Most people simply don’t understand, I always ask if their dogs are secure as well. My Dog will not be friendly. We do our best. I love all dogs … Just not all their owners !

All the reactive humans should be put down then, too.

People (adults AND children) need to learn boundaries. They can't just run up on someone with a dog (or any other kind of pet). I can't stand that. I have an extremely friendly dog, she absolutely loves people, dogs, cats, etc. However, why is it always the responsibility of the pet owner, who is minding their business going on a walk, to have to watch out for little assholes running around and coming into our personal space? Parents aren't teaching their children boundaries. People should treat all unknown animals as if they are a service animal/working animal. People like you are a godsend. If it makes us jerks bc we don't like people in our bubbles and we are protecting ourselves, our pets, and the a*****e in our bubble, then fine, we can be the jerk. F**k them.

Hopefully the kids learn empathy. Not every dog is gonna be silent and still with screaming brats.

Same here my dog was dumped on the streets and starved for a while before the old owner found him. Now he is living with us.

Just keep it secured and you won't have any trouble.

Never put down a dog unless they need it.

Listen u can't get mad at people for being afruad of your dog and saying things that maybe they don't mean. I had a papillion and he got EATEN BY TWO BULL terriers the don cherry dogs ... And riopped him apart and he died so u better believe when I see an aggressive dog around my son or my new dog I tell the owner TO BACK THE F**K UP AND STAY AWAY FROM ME. especially if your bringing your aggressive dog to a child's park or something.

If your dog is not doing well with strangers, don't torture it by keeping strangers around it. Give it a safe place, it is your responsibility not other people's. If it attacks someone, it's on you, not on them. You're acting like jerk.
