I Make Comics About My Daily Life With Fibromyalgia
21Kviews
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 7 years ago and I've been struggling with it ever since. Finally, I've learned the best self-therapy of all: I illustrate my daily life so people would know what I'm going through.
Since 2017, I've been making comic strips called "Fibro...what!?" to deal with my chronic pain illness and to raise awareness about it.

The Fibro...What!?
The One Who Understands
The Spontaneous Attack
The fatigue will catch you. Suddenly. And you can't do anything to avoid it.
The Fibro-Friend
The Food Sharing
The Work
The Drugs
Oh god, I hated Clonazepam. Didn't reduce my symptoms, just knocked me the hell out. :/
The Sleeping Problems
The Discomfort
The Exception
The Diagnosis
The Daily Feeling
The Fatigue
Good Thing There're People With Good Sense Of Humor
The Fibro-Attack
The 'How You Doing?'
Heh, I've had to learn that, when people ask "How are you?" they don't actually want an answer.
The Weekend Mornings
"I think my foot woke up" as it is the only thing outside of the bed. I have said this many times.
The Low Battery
Wake up in the morning and feel like you just have finished a marathon.
The Low Defenses
The Restless Legs
The Skin Problems
I can relate! I am super sensitive to sunlight, it causes me extreme discomfort and causes rashes so I have to apply so many creams and lotions I feel like a walking skin care ad
The One
Workaholic Me
The Tiredness
The Procrastination
The Physical Excersise
The Skin Rash
The Exercise
The Psychosomatic Fibro
The Fibro-Fog
The Muscle Cramps
The Temperature Control
The Immune System
The Travel Planning
First Is The Comfort
Yup, I don't even think about heels anymore unless they're combat boot types. Also I type this while icing and doing other home care for 5 strained or pulled muscles after getting no sleep. Wheeee! 😵
A Little Embarrassed Of This Comic... But Unfortunately It's True
Dietary Problems
I've heard of someone who said they intentionally would give people regular sodas when they ordered diet sodas, and another person who intentionally gave people regular ranch dressing instead of low-fat ranch dressing. I'd like to give them a piece of my mind - maybe it's not about wanting to lose weight, but they could have health issues.
Loving The Company
The Health System
The Time I Made It To The End!
Awesome Friends
Ha Ha Ha Ha... well... if we Fibro-warriors eat right, we do eat like canaries! FUNNY!!!
The Saturday Nights
Dude, if someone not only takes 6 hours to respond, but also asks me to leave my house after Midnight, go jump in the river O.O
Yep, yep, yep! All sadly familiar. Love the style of drawing - and depiction of fibro as a heavy weight is so accurate.
What about how weather, especially low air pressure, affects your fibro. Or, it that just me?
This is life with a chronic illness, nailed.
