Ok, this whole pandemic thing is hard, especially as we watch it run amok through the US. So I turn to my comics as a coping mechanism. I moonlight as a cartoonist and use my comics to explore what’s happening around me and my family to find some truth and hopefully connect with others through humor. I post a new comic almost every day on my website and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Check them out and let me know what resonates with your life and experiences! And follow along on social to see new cartoons! Here is Part 1 of my comics on Bored Panda.

Guy at work was fuming about mandatory masks. "what about taking personal responsibility?" I responded completely confused, "how are you going to take personal responsibility for someone else breathing or sneezing?" It was just such a crazy conversation.

I think the mistake that was made is the same argument for masks was used in America as in the rest of the world. For most countries "wear a mask to keep everyone safe" is a good enough argument (particularly in collectivist cultures), but most (not all) Americans only care about themselves. Should have said from the start "wear a mask to protect yourself and preserve your freedom".

Exactly. And masks do protect you so idk why they started this "protect others" mess. It makes ppl think they won't get sick, only "others".

Fine. Don’t wear your mask. But don’t delude yourself into thinking that, once you start coughing, you’re going to the hospital. Nope, you’re going to a special containment center, where you and the other anti-maskers can spend several days coughing on each other in really close quarters. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a silver space blanket and a spot on the floor if you feel you need to lay down. No ventilators, but you get to go outside once a day to walk the yard for some fresh air.

Yes, Cranial Rectal Inversion appears to be just a contagious and rampant as COVID in the US.

If everyone stayed in for two weeks and only left their house if they were infection free, there would be no more virus.

The people supporting the food supply chain are unable to do this. We still run a risk.

I call it “Generational Amnesia”. Once the generation that lived the event finally die off, their stories don’t get told anymore, therefore are not heard by the new generation coming up, and are soon forgotten. Since few people listen in history class (sadly), once conditions are right they’re ripe for repeating the mistakes of the generation that’s gone.

When we got our desk blotter calendars at work this year, they had January twice, and no February. The place that made them had to send us all new ones for free, but they could've gotten away with giving us four Marches and no April, May, or June.
