Who Is Lainey Molnar?
According to the web search results, Lainey Molnar's real name is Lainey D. Molnár. She is a Hungarian living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As social media doesn't reflect reality nowadays, Lainey successfully spreads social messages through her Instagram. Lainey began posting her art on Instagram in October 2019.
Eventually, she stepped away from social media due to persistent online harassment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began sharing the signature drawings she became known for. Some were portraits of people like Meghan Markle, Lady Gaga, and Emma Watson. Best known for her comics, Lainey is also a motivational speaker, owning her online course Soul Sister Academy.
Furthermore, a Lainey Molnar meme was created, the Laineyball. It’s an exploitable meme character based on Lainey Molnar. 4chan, the popular image board community, was the platform where it went viral. Laineyball and 4chan users intend to annoy the author by making it more popular than the original comic.

Condoms ARE uncomfortable! I imagine they don't feel too comfortable for a woman either. [Start Dodgy infomercial voice now] That's why you need... LUBE. Simply place a little inside the condom for more comfortability for YOU, and plenty on the outside for your partner. Don't forget to trim your pubes to avoid 'snagging'. LUBE! So from us here at LUBE, we say to you: Don't be a prick, put a condom on your d**k. But make sure you remember, to add some lube your member.
I have a PhD, work full time at a university as as scholar and project manager and also work in a café/bar on weekends (just because I enjoy the company and change of scenery; scholars can be really dull). It*s really amusing how SOME people treat me differently, depending on the context. Helps determine who is cool and who is not. Moral? Always treat others with respect
What’s The Creative Process Behind Lainey Molnar Comics?
The artist told Bored Panda she has a miles-long list of illustration ideas on her phone: “I sometimes literally wake up in the middle of the night to write down new ones, and I grab my phone to make notes at any point when I see something inspiring.”
When she sits down and draws that idea from the list, she finds it resonates with the moment. As Lainey sometimes loves to binge-watch TV shows while drawing, she says: “Still, usually, I like to create an ambiance, like candles, incense, and good music, because I believe the vibes and emotions also go into every artwork.”
I mean, the jacket might be leather and the shoes might be from a sweatshop and the racoon might actually be just a chihuahua in a costume so let’s also not judge too much.

That's cute. When my husband and I were dating (in 2006), he came over one evening, and we cooked dinner together. When he saw me put on my apron, he said, "I love the Southern Belle look. Are you going to serve tea on the veranda with the good China?" Lol.

In Minnesota, you have to have a license to keep a "wild animal" in your home. And you have to get training to get the license
This will probably be my daughter one day 😅 she marches to the beat of her own drum 😘
My childhood teacher always said “don’t yuck someone’s yum” basically saying that if someone enjoys something and it doesn’t hurt, it’s not your place to say anything :)
Im sorry, but putting ketchup on YOUR icecream does hurt me if I see it. I literally gagged :D
If you find an abandoned baby animal, PLEASE bring them to the nearest wildlife rehabilitation centre. Do not see it as an excuse to keep them. They deserve the life they were meant to have, wild & free. Some animals become to accustomed to humans and therefore cannot be sent back out into their natural habitat. It’s crucial you bring them to knowledgeable folks ASAP! Do not and I repeat, DO NOT USE THEM AS A WAY TO BOOST YOUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA POPULARITY. It’s cruel & unnecessary, and rarely benefits the animal.
I think the jacket is a real thing. I believe I have seen it before. Maybe check the M&Ms website.
Load More Replies...Owning a pet raccoon is actually a bit ethically questionable, they aren't generally very well suited to captivity and it can be bad for the raccoon.
Makes sr to me. That last bite should be delicious, not dry crust.
Load More Replies...I want to meet this glorious woman!! 💖 Please let's be friends, it looks like we have the same kind of crazy.
I get that the artist deals almost exclusively with women's issues, but I sure wish the human in the comic above had been a guy, I'd give it to my brother the next time he comments, "Ugh. Why does [insert favorite your favorite gay male celebrity/athlete here] have to be so 'in your face' about being gay???" This from a guy whose daughter has been blissfully married to a woman for 5 years. Sigh...🙄
Lol! I love it! I wish we could get those lol raccoons domesticated! But yup...no pain!No shame😎
When your special wall flower grows up to be a hot mess of a human being.... At least when you die alone the raccoon will help turn your body to compost.
For everyone who's yelling about the raccoon: Poof. It's a hedgehog now. Happy?
I'm impressed by the way so many people tried so hard to completely miss the point.
There is nothing I love more than seeing someone live their best life.. whatever that might be. There is truly nothing more beautiful in humanity than this ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 and we're living in a time that it's actually possible for once 🥰 take advantage!!
Pet raccoon: Aw! Outfit from Wierd Al's "Tacky": Fun! Butterfly wings: You go! Sriracha on ice cream: if that's your thing. Live Laugh Love: Oh, you're really stretching it. LOL HHOK
I'll be honest this just looks like an awesome and fun person anyways!
*Sits down next to her while pouring soy sauce on my ice cream* Soooo, you're weird too?
If do all of it except the sriracha on ice cream, cuz I'm a wimp. Lol
The raccoon is the only thing slightly bothering me, but you do you, boo
Can ya'll please stop judging? Its a piece of art not real life- i'm getting so annoyed because of it
If you put hot sauce on ice cream, I'm out...otherwise, it's all magnificent.
of course anyone can wear whatever they like and eat whatever they like ect. if its not harming anyone, however this person is applying ketchup to a perfectly good ice cream therefore they are harming their tastebuds and any children in the area who are not ready to understand the gravity of what is being done (they've got epic wings though so they may be redeemable)
I have the right to cringe if I see someone putting something weird on ice cream (my ex liked soy sauce on vanilla ice cream), but I'm not going to try to stop anyone from enjoying themselves.
I wonder how people come up with these unusual pairings.
Load More Replies...the M And M Jacket is a bit much. And yeah raccoons kinda belong in shelters (if they cant live wild), unless of course she's a volunteer taking that one for a walk?
Unlike some think a good rescue will never treat their animals like a toy, dresssing them up and taking for a walk. They will minimize contact with humans so the animal stays as wild as possible.
Load More Replies...I would not be one to put sriracha sauce on ice cream, but then again one of my favourite flavours of ce cream is Tiger Tail.
i know another commenter said something about wild raccoons as pets is bad, but i had a friend who got a raccoon from a place that rehabilitated them when they couldn't live out in the wild (odd place, i know) and it was the sweetest, and most loving little guy. he only died when someone assumed he was some wild stolen raccoon and set him "free". the raccoon didn't last more than a mile outside the house.
Honestly i had such a problem with this one but now I’m just letting people do what they want
Why is it that all only Asians are allowed to be this 'quirky'? I'm a blonde white woman, and if I wore that, I wouldn't be applauded, I'd be 'saved from myself' and put back into my playboy bunny uniform and thrown into the tomb of forgotten assumed white supremacists that were once the part of what was also a valid and respected culture in the days before the smartphone and angry poor people with access to the internet. LONGEST. RUN ON SENTENCE. EVAAR.
who said asians were only allowed to be this quirky? the woman who draws these comics just makes them diverse. calm down.
Load More Replies...All these comments complaining about the fashion or the racoon. What if it's a toy? Like, synthetic fur, polyester stuffing. I've seen and made some pretty good looking stuffed toys. I guess people can't help bein grumpy and nitpicky? Even if the title of the drawing says to chill out, basically?
Caring about the wellbeing of an abused animal is not being grumpy
Load More Replies...Sooooo...what am I supposed to do with the "other life forms" that have been domesticated for thousands of years and could never adjust to feral living? I see you're blindly raging whilst barely knowing why. Also it's shitty, not shity.
Load More Replies...Is Lainey Molnar Art Personal?
When asked whether she has any personal favorites from her illustrations, Lainey said it’s the one where she compares “someone with physical health struggles” and “someone with mental health struggles.”
The artist shared that this is because it’s a very personal one. Lainey admits she struggled with her mental health for over 18 years. So, she is the one who knows how complicated it can be living with this invisible illness.
Even though Lainey usually explores female empowerment topics straightforwardly or funnily, the artist also adds, “Still, at the end of the day, we are all simply human beings. I find it crucial to address stigmatized topics because it gives so many of us relief to know that we aren't alone.”
Because looking pretty for that one random guy in the street is every woman ever's purpose, of course /s
The very definition of natural is 'existing in or derived from nature'. Your body is natural until you have an unnatural change. Pregnancy is one of the most natural things there is!
I needed this. I’m short and flat and small for my age. When someone says they’re jealous I always think they are joking.
agreed, i'm average and short, can't find any nice clothes to fit my B cups and big af ass.
And both require a lot of hard work, practicing, and other words that I'm not smart enough to know. (I used to be a ballet dancer and Im assuming about the other one...)
What Motivates Modern Women Like Lainey?
Motivation and creative block are some of the most crucial topics for all modern women, especially artists. Lainey hasn’t had to experience creative block very often. The illustrator claims she simply has too much to say: “In an ideal world, a lot of what I’m communicating would be obvious, but as we’re not there yet, I don't mind processing the same pain points over and over again via a visual medium.”
Lainey is thrilled about the feedback she gets, as she says it’s “overwhelmingly positive.” Of course, that would drive any artist’s self-esteem, right? So, Lainey’s case is also not an exception, as she finds feedback as an endless source of motivation.
I can confirm. After having spent 35 years of insecurity over different aspects of my body, now that I am pregnant and my body is growing another human being, I'm astonished and very very satisfied with my body even though it has changed enormously.
What Influences Lainey’s Art?
Artists like Adam Ellis, Tiny Moron, and Wowocomics inspire Lainey. She says: “They all have very different styles and a very different sense of humor, but I think it always comes down to personality that shines through the art, so there is space for all unique creators to show how they perceive the world.”
Looking at these artists from Lainey’s perspective, she values vision and purpose over technical skills such as anatomy or shading.
What's Up With Lainey Molnar?
One of Lainey’s most significant projects was releasing a book Mating in Captivity: Reconciling the Erotic and the Domestic. As she has worked in publishing and was a blogger for more than a decade, the artist claims herself as a “huge bookworm.” Hence, captions in Laine’s art play an equal role as the illustrations themselves.
Daily, she shares her art with her one million followers on her Instagram. Lainey keeps her comics consistent, exploring the same social topics and keeping an authentic style, as she claims: “I really hope that I can create something magical that will help women be happier and more liberated from societal expectations.”

Reflecting The Modern Womanhood
Lainey Molnar isn't just an artist but a voice of her generation. Suppose you’re looking for your daily dose of motivation. In that case, her feminist motivational quotes reflect the essence of modern womanhood, with all its joys and challenges. This is what makes Lainey’s comics so relatable to millions of women.
I really love this - it makes me feel more comfortable with my body and my lifestyle
Half of me loves the inclusive body positivity. The other half notices this is a much more positive yuppie-dom than I grew up with, but nobody is broke, rural, or old.
....How can you tell nobody is broke or rural? Is it because of what they're wearing? You can find cheap and stylish clothes and people who live in rural areas can wear nice clothes....

In doing my little part to adress societies double standards, I did NOT raise my sons to see femails as trophies or conquest. I know this will sound old fashioned, but I have encouraged them to wait for marriage. I know that isn't going to happen, but it's a good baseline. As for my daughter. At 9 years old she is one belt away from her Black Belt in TKD, and I have been teaching her hand to hand and take down for self defense. I also take time to explain the physical advantages women have in situations. She also does jazz and tap dance. In short I won't have to be one of those dads who threatens her dates. We are raising a strong and confident young woman.

Also, petite & slim people have body image and societal pressure issues too. Ya know how many times in my life people have gone out of their way to say things like, 'Eat a burger or something.' It's important to note that screens, especially before bed, a bad sleep routine, a lack of physical movement & sunshine, and a bad diet contribute significantly to poor mental and physical health.
After my son was born, I had so many people ask me how I lost the baby weight so quickly. It was actually Grave's disease--an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid and one symptom is unintended weight loss. I went from 130lbs pre-pregnancy (healthy) to 150lbs during pregnancy (also healthy) to 110lbs about 8 weeks post pregnancy (very unhealthy). It was awful.

I’m looking at the comments. That doesn’t mean men aren’t important and have their own issues. Secondly, stop fat shaming and beauty shaming people. That’s just twisted. Third of all, women are just a s capable as man. So stop with all these comments.

What a lot of people don't understand is many of these same issues affect straight men as well. Body image, marriage, kids, etc... We all feel the same pain.
I love everything about this. The positivity, the self-love, the art style, and the outfits. Like hello, where can I get them?
This is definitely one of the least patronizing/over simplifying “woman draws it as it is” posts.

It would probably be healing for men to age the many mixed messages they get too:) It would be great for men to see this and woman to she the men ones:) Thank you soooooo much for making this:)!
Abuse occurs from all angles. It's not just male on female, as women so wrongly proclaim (which is just a way to deflect from their own disgusting behaviors and attitudes). Abuse from a female is absolutely real, and happens a lot more than people think. I'd say they're actually more mentally abusive than males are overall. These kinds of cartoons ignore facts like that while at the same time try to claim they're about some kind of "equality" thing. Nope. It's about being the same way you claim men are, the actions of which you claim to hate. It's called hypocrisy and double standards.
Notice how you won’t find anything like this about men on the internet to make US feel better. Now I understand that there are many differences but how often men get mental help? We suck it in no matter what. And when we do speak out? No. One. Cares.
