Photographer Asked Celebrities To Reveal Their Public And Private Personalities In Intimate Double-Portraits
Everybody has a public and a private persona, and celebrities are no exception. You might think you know something about them because of all the films you've seen them in, but it's only once they're out of the spotlight that their true selves are revealed.
With this in mind, photographer Andrew H. Walker decided to try to capture the other, lesser seen sides of various A-listers in order to give us a different perspective on some of our favorite movie stars and musicians. The photographs were taken at the Toronto Film Festival, and the only props the photographer allowed were a table as well as a piece of tape that acted as the dividing line between the subject's two personas. Check out some of the results below, and try to see if you can figure out which pictures represent the public personas, and which ones reveal the private faces of the people within them.

This one's brilliant. His "personal and intimate" self is always judging his public appearance.

We all have different sides, though these pictures were not as thought provoking as I had hoped.
these boring photos are so heavily photoshopped one could take them as paintings.
I find it hilarious that Nick Cannon thinks he's some kind of bad m**o
I can't see so much difference and I really don't have an idea, on some of these pictures, which is the public and which is the private side <<
well, i enjouyed these; could not tell which was private and which public, but it doesnt matter--thought provoking and well done!!!
I think it's rather we got different moods, but no one expect from us things that people do from celebrities. so it's different to have public and private side.
How do they make sure if these are their inner self? How was the process of shooting?
Some of these guys just don't have real world problems, and we can't hate them for that
To all of you who are saying that the poses aren't that different. If you look at their body language and their facial expressions, you can see how they have to be brave/happier/more secretive because of the media. That is how celebrities are different yet similar to us. We all have different sides to us but celebrities have to be one side for the fans and because of the media making false/hurtful articles about them.
A lot of people seem to be complaining cause they don't know who half the people are but i don't think that should really matter. Yeah at some points it is hard to tell which is which but it does say it's about their personalities which is one side they have to show to everyone and keep it going wherever they go as they get followed by press, and the other is what they're personalities are when they are not around the public. Just because they're wearing the same clothes and still have make up don't mean it's all fake, just appreciate what the photographer is trying to show
