‘Lion King’ Artist Paints Majestic Tribute To Cecil The Lion
Aaron Blaise, a former Disney animator who has worked on classic characters from Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, Mulan and other Disney classics, has created a beautiful and touching work of art to pay tribute to Cecil. The famous lion from Zimbabwe was recently killed by a dentist as a trophy.
“I am a HUGE animal lover and it drives me crazy when I see these beautiful creatures destroyed for no good reason,” Blaise writes on his blog. “As some of you may also know I was one of the animators on “The Lion King” – When I heard the news about Cecil I got inspired to create a tribute image. It’s not much but hopefully it will make people think.” The image was accompanied by a fascinating speed-drawing video as well.

I agree with Heather. Perhaps funds could be raised to save the cubs of Cecil's pride from being killed by other adult males attempting to take over.
Obviously she's talking about cubs being on their own in the wild. You don't think every lion is killed by a hunter do you?
