Guy Installs Secret Camera To Catch The Thief That Keeps Stealing His Things, Can’t Believe His Eyes

Senthil Nathan from Chennai, India, was growing increasingly perplexed at the mysterious case of random, non-valuable objects disappearing regularly from his front porch. Think doormats, mops. Things that you need around the house, but what kind of thief would waste their time stealing them? “We live in an apartment and occupy one of the flats in the ground floor,” Senthil told Bored Panda. “We originally suspected that it was a cat, which comes and sleeps in our porch sometimes.” But how could a small cat drag a doormat away, though the iron bars of the gate? It had to be someone else.

Eventually, Senthil had enough. It was freaking him out. What if the thief grew in confidence and decided to pull off a bigger heist? It was time for action. He installed a CCTV camera in the hope of catching the thief in the act.

Within a few days, sure enough, the doormat was gone again. Aha! Time for the big reveal. With nervous excitement, Senthil and his wife sat down to watch the video, and finally come face-to-face with their tormentor. Is it a pesky neighbor? A friend playing a practical joke? A masked man, with a fetish for mundane household goods? The tension was palpable.

Scroll down below to see how Senthil described the incident to a friend, including exclusive images of the thief, in a tweet that has since gone viral. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!

“I know he is one of 3 stray dogs that play in the neighborhood, but I haven’t found the other doormats yet,” he told Bored Panda

But he does have an idea of the puppy perpetrator’s motive, he simply wants a bed to lay his paws on at night

I'd leave really soft things out for the doggy. No, I'd adopt him and make sure he's safe and loved.

I wonder if he would sleep in it if the guy puts a dog house just outside that gate where the doggo can get to it.

I once gave one of my dog's toys to the dog living upstairs. My dog went upstairs and took it back, lol.

I'd open up my gate, leave a bed , food, water. Poor puppies. It's like a little kid being left all alone to fend for themselves.

Dog does not have a concept of "stealing". He sees something soft and comfy and warm, he takes it to be warm and comfy. Simple as that! He does not think that he is stealing something, he just ... well, found it. Poor puppy, he needs his bed like we all do.

Put some dog food out with some poison in it and leave out for the dog to eat, problem solved or you can just shoot it with an AR-15 if you live in america.
