Woman Captures Hilarious Video Of A Cat Watching Two Rats Fight
“On my way home to this amusing sight!” Cheez Goh wrote on her Facebook upon sharing a video of this now-viral fight between two rats. “We’re so used to seeing cats fighting. But have you ever seen rats fighting? A cat that never interrupts is a smart cat. Guess which rat did the cat chase after? The one that runs away from my direction or the one that comes towards my direction? Guess correctly, I’ll buy you coffee,” she shares. No need to bother the woman with requests for coffee now, because Bored Panda will let you in on the secret if you scroll down below.

Recently, one woman in Singapore witnessed a bizarre incident

“I was on my way home on the 8th of July around 10 pm and under my block, I saw those 2 rats running and chasing each other around trying to provoke one another, and they went separate ways while I wanted to film it,” Cheez, the witness of the fight, told Bored Panda. “Then it happened again and I quickly took a video of the process.” However, she didn’t see how it started. “They were already running around upon me reaching my block because I heard some sounds,” she told us.
While walking home, she came across a fight between two rats

Are you too eager to know what happened next? “The two rats just gave up and went separate ways,” Cheez told Bored Panda. “One ran away from the camera, one came towards the camera where I was standing. It didn’t seem to notice I was filming the process and ran towards me. I freaked out as it was approaching me, causing a sudden movement. The rat then ran for its life and that’s when the cat saw that the rat was running and charged towards it. However, the cat missed because the rat went under the drain. The rat was really fast!”
That was casually watched by a local cat

One thing Cheez didn’t expect for sure was for her video to go crazy viral like it did. “No, I didn’t expect my video to go viral. I thought it was a rare sight! And it was pretty amusing. So I shared!” Good thing she did, because we’re pretty sure the video chased your boredom right away!

Rats are much more agresive than mouses, and not evry cat are able (or wiling to take the risk) to fight with them. I have a cat and a tomcat, and as we live at country, there are lots of mouses and rats. Only my tomcat fights with rats, and get wounds mostly at head and after that he sleep permanently many days for recovery. For cats only hunting mouses is for fun, hunting rats is fighting (hard). That is why that cat didn't interfered.
Rats aren't more aggressive than mice, they can just protect themselves better. Your cat is the one being aggressive and hunting and the rats are just fighting for their lives. It isn't really fair to say they are aggressive if they are just defending themselves - they weren't the ones to start the fight.

Should have called over the other local animals so he could put a bit on the winner!
I think they were just 2 blokes having a fun tussle. Or perhaps a flirtatious dance between sweethearts. The cat is incidental.
Cats are like this when they see something out of the ordinary. They just freeze. It COULD have gotten two for the price of one whilst they were distracted but didn't do anything as it's used to chasing MOVING rats not FIGHTING rats. As soon as it moves off, the cat gives chase and, as expected, fails to catch it..
I would think an article with the title Woman Captures Hilarious Video Of A Cat Watching Two Rats Fight. Would have a video or a link to a video?
Can we get some pics of the cannibal rats of New York? Maybe that can be a new cable show: RCRNY!
