Daughter Tries To Guilt-Trip Her Dad Into Getting Her A Kitty, Gets The Best Response
How far would you go to convince your parents to let you have a cat? Maybe you’d offer to mow the lawn every week for a month, or wash the car every month for a year. Perhaps you’d promise to improve your grades in school. Or maybe you’d try to guilt trip them by covering a wall of the house with pictures and notes about how they were “killing innocent lives” and “letting cats die alone.”
It might sound like a dramatic approach, but that’s precisely what one girl did recently before her older sister Danielle Grubisic, who lives in Keller, Texas, decided to share the hilarious results online. “My little sister made a “wall of sorrow” to make my dad feel bad so she could get a cat…” she recently wrote on Twitter, but did the strategy work? Scroll down to find out.

How far would you go to convince your parents to let you have a cat?
Danielle Grubisic’s little sister decided to take a hilariously dramatic approach
“You’re letting them die in a tiny box doing nothing but crying”
“They’re going to die alone, they never even got to get a home because some people want them to die”
“Your killing innocent lives!”
Do you think her dad fell for it?
His facial expression says it all
If you want a dog, or a cat...start with asking for a pony, then work your way down. LOL
What is you want a pony? Start with a Hippopotamus?
Load More Replies...The spelling on these notes really bugged me lol. Still, cute way to get her dad to say yes!
The photo with the cat teardrop gets high marks for effort and style! Glad it worked and the cat has a nice warm lap upon which to sit - ahh!
Aw, you can tell how compassionate this little girl is. The innocence of a child! I pray we all remember how to feel that much again
being manipulative is now compassion? interesting idea, but the kid should be in trouble, not ending up with what she wants.
Load More Replies...So where is this "best response", i just saw a photo of a guy lying on his sofa.
Dear Danielle, Your little sister is a Master Manipulator! (does she give lessons?)
Oh please you people with such negative comments about the spelling! How about encouraging her for her creativity? How about having some faith that this YOUNG girl will live and learn from her spelling mistakes because she’s confident enough to write something whether it is perfect or not? Be nice people! In the end, her creativity saved an animal and gave it a loving home. The spelling will come in time.
So... baby wanted a cat, but kitty preffered the dad. In my case, my dad was the one begging my mom for a cat... and he won!! He got a female that gave him several litter of darlings to play with. Mom was not amused, but WE were!
will someone please tell me why I continue to eat while reading this site? this article had me cracking up (glad they got a kitty), but the comment thread is what made me stop eating and just laugh.
Love the fact that dad is the one that resisted getting a cat and yet, the cat chose to sit in his lap for the picture.
Yvonne Horton - It stands for social justice warrior; the most irritating, misinformed, more than likely have a trust fund, dish out a whole load of nonsense and aggression but are unable to receive it and instead play the victim card. They're the worst.
What does wanting to have a cat have to do with being a SJW??
