Guy Gets Revenge On Cat Who Kept Waking Him Up At 4 AM Every Morning

Everybody knows that cats like their sleep, but what cats don’t realize is that humans also cherish their rest. Or, more likely, they do know and they simply don’t care, because as every cat owner will know, our feline friends love nothing more than waking us up.

Italics the cat is no exception to this rule. He likes to wake his owner up at 4am every day. But as you can see from the video below (which has already been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube), his owner, Atlanta-based writer Nicholas Tecosky, recently decided to play Italics at his very own game by waking him up at 4pm. The result? One very smug human, and one very confused cat…

More info: YouTube | Twitter | Nicholas Tecosky

“My cat wakes me up at 4am every morning. I repaid the favor at 4pm yesterday”

No. The cat will s**t in his shoes in the middle of the night. Cats are really capable of doing that.

Possible outcomes: 50% utter confused cat, no further change of anything. 5% cat understood what it meant and will move the waking time by generous five minutes to 04:05. And then there is a 45% chance of vengeance, by moving the waking time to 03:00. Plus 04:00. Plus 05:00. After all, cats and humans are incompatible, that's why they enjoy each other's companionship so much, probably.

Not funny at all! Cats are not only scared by loid noises, it also hurt them. Cats have very sensitive ears. I don't even want to think about, how many stupid people think “oh it's so funny, I have to do this to my cats“. If a cat has a fulfilled life, it won't happen, that it will wake anybody in the middle of the night. Think about that

Maybe I’m being too sensitive - but why distress your cat like this while she's sleeping? It seems cruel. If you can't handle the fact that you're living with a wild animal that is active early in the morning then don't have one - or figure out ways to keep them active during the day. I have a Kittyo and have been giving my cat much more exercise recently during the day while I’m at work and she’s at home - and I’ve noticed that she’s sleeping better throughout the night.

Funny? No, not really. Animals don't think or act as we humans do. Their codes of behavior are totally different from us. I find this very cruel. The poor cat doesn't understand why its owner shouts at him during his sleep. Cats are very sensitive animals, this could have an effect on the relationship between the very stupid-mean owner and this poor beast. Animals are not humans and will never be. People tend to think that pets think like us, but this is not true. So please stop punishing your animals as you would your roommate. They just don't understand our code.Since when our four legged friends have human brains?

That's why I do not like animals in the house (may be fish is ok). I like my rest more than them.

What a f***ing jerk. He should play with her cat more before bed time, so she would'n feel lonely and playful at 4AM. But no, he prefers to be an a**hole and abuse a nocturnal animal.
