When they walk, their back paws step in almost exactly the same place as the front paws do in order to minimize noise and limit visible tracks. Cats have powerful night vision, excellent hearing and a powerful sense of smell.
We have come to associate purring with contentment when it comes to cats, but turns out just because a cat is purring doesn’t mean the cat is happy. Cats usually make this sound when they’re content, but they also purr when they’re sick, stressed, hurt, or giving birth. my cat figured out how to let the water at the sink run so she can drink from it. water bill is getting expensive. T.T
If it is a tap with a lever use an elastic band to keep the tap closed. I've had to do this with my cat.

Well, cats are a bit snobby when it comes to water I think. My cats absolutely refuse drinking the water from the tap for some reason, they like to drink bottled still water. I tried filling up the bottles from the tap a few times and then pour it on their bowls, showing them it's being poured "from" the bottle, but I guess they figure it out from the taste or smell or something, so they refuses to drink it. Thank god they don't talk, they'd probably ask for Voss or Fiji.
Ah yess..we have a Bengal afoot...Abyssinians are clever little handfuls too.
I was just going to comment that I thought this might be a bengal. They also really love a fresh stream of water. I catsat for two and the owners actually left their faucet drip for them.

Some cats are extremely smart, my two also liked fresh tap water, I put a small dish on bathroom sink, being retired, I constantly keep the water fresh, I have thought of a fountain, undecided so far !!!
I had one who figured out the 'no-hands opener (a pedal across the bottom.) We had to disable it to keep the door closed, or she'd pull her favorite edibles out.

These were great. My roommate had to put his cat down just today. She was 22 years old. I think this will definitely lift his spirits.
I'm not sure. Chances are, it will be heartbreaking. He loved his cat and might not be ready to confront himself with such a load of cuteness and silliness while he's deprived of his own... Consider he's grieving really hard.
