When they walk, their back paws step in almost exactly the same place as the front paws do in order to minimize noise and limit visible tracks. Cats have powerful night vision, excellent hearing and a powerful sense of smell.
We have come to associate purring with contentment when it comes to cats, but turns out just because a cat is purring doesn’t mean the cat is happy. Cats usually make this sound when they’re content, but they also purr when they’re sick, stressed, hurt, or giving birth. I have a kind of similar story. I was at a friends house and we were getting ready to all go to a concert together. One of the guys in my group wasn't feeling good so he stayed behind at our friends house. Later that evening he sent me a pic of their cat laying in his chest and said there cat was sooo sweet and cuddly. I told and showed my friend who's house it was and he just looked back at me in a dead serious way and said "that's not my cat...." seriously, we all lost it cause it was so funny. Turns out, this cat had snuck into some duct in the basement (probably cause it was cold outside), went wandering through the house, found Matt laying on the couch, and decided to snuggle. Lol!!! They do have two cats and two dogs, but their cats like to roam so we hardly ever saw them. They live out in the country.

My dog started going crazy one night and one of my cats was yowling so I stumble out of bed and into the kitchen to see a random cat on the counter drinking the dripping water from our sink. It saw me, casually jumped down, strolled slowly through the two adjoining rooms and out the dog door. All the while my dog is loosing his mind barking and staying as far away as he could. Damn cat acted like it owned the place. Never saw it again. That day I realized the magnetic chip tag reader on the dog door wasn’t working anymore.

I live in a very rural part of Ireland. When I was a child (long time ago) my mother went to check on an elderly neighbour who was unwell and bed-ridden. This old woman lived in pretty much a hovel and had quite a few cats. Anyway, my mother said she'd change the bed clothes for her. She removed a few blankets from the bed and discovered a cat and very newly born kittens. My mum asked the old lady if she knew about it and was told all the cats and kittens were born in her bed (and probably on the same bed clothes).
Amazing!! ... I have a neat story too ..I was told that my maternal great grandma would leave milk in a saucer at the doorstep of her rural home, in order to feed the house snake that was chasing mice ^--^ she was quite a gal, apparently

Happened to a friend of mine as well, From 0 to 4 cats in no time :-p
This kitty has, for some reason, found your home safe and cozy, and thus chose it as the place to give birth. In no time, you will fall in love with all of them. Kittens are so fun. Affectionate, stumbling all over each other, curious, you can be entertained by just watching them for hours and not even realize time has gone by.
It is now. I don't think he talks about anything else. He's been documenting their progress, and they're adorable.
So, a mother cat adopted you, I hope you find Good homes for the kittens, then have mother cat spayed and keep her, she loves you, please, keep her indoors !!!

Found a cat in my wardrobe once, had no clue how it got in there. (I kept it after taking it to the vet but found out later there was a hole in the wall behind my wardrobe which led outside)

These were great. My roommate had to put his cat down just today. She was 22 years old. I think this will definitely lift his spirits.
I'm not sure. Chances are, it will be heartbreaking. He loved his cat and might not be ready to confront himself with such a load of cuteness and silliness while he's deprived of his own... Consider he's grieving really hard.
