There's no such thing as spending the night with your human. Follow this guide to get the best out of it! I created it together with topito.
I also created series explaining what your cat really thinks. You can check them out here.

Before my divorce my cat used to hiss and growl at my ex when he came to bed. Now my cat sleeps on his old side of the bed & still looks smug as hell sleeping there as if he's thinking " she's all mine"! He's the jealous type lol

My cat always sits on me... I am not your cushion at night!!! Okay maybe I am...
Pet my belly... C'mooooooon, you know you wanna pet my belly! Look, I present it to you for petting! I even wriggle closer, belly first, pleading for you to touch the belly. C'mon... Just touch it's! You know you gotta! C'mon! * hand gets within striking distance, and all the pointy things embed themselves *
You forgot when they sleep between your legs leaving u unable to move
Cats share my side with me, large puppy has taken over the other side. Pmmft!!

I wrote something before but it seems to have been lost. This is Scampy the cat writing. That's me in the bathroom sink. I want to say that my human is very unfair. Three of us felines live with her and she actually LOCKS her bedroom door at night so as not to let us in. (One of us knows how to jump on door handles and open doors.) Just because we don't let her sleep, by jumping and fighting over her back, is no reason to lock us out. If any of you cats out there can give me some advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Scampy
Cats are soft and pretty and all. But this makes me love and appreciate my dog even more.
our cat was trained to sleep at the foot of he bed; also trained not to jump on people and had an old rocking chair that was hers. No chairs or couch. Yes cats can be trained.
The Puma - jump from the dresser top to the middle of servant's chest exactly at 4:00 am aka Breakfast time.
My cat thinks my hip is THE most comfortable spot in the world my my jugs are the perfect cushions to kneed with her nails
when they sleep in my mums room they lie on both sides of her legs so she can't move :p they're kinder with me, one on my ankle and one at the hip
So true! My cat likes to sleep wrapped around the top of my head, like a hat/earmuffs, with his tail smacking me in the mouth.
I think I must have one of the weirdest cat in the world. He doesn't do any of those things. If I wake up and he's sleeping with me, he's curled up against my side. And he wants to please me. I call him my puppy-cat.
Put the dog in place of the cat! Oh sometimes he puks on the sheets covering my feet, you forgot that one! When he has to get a drink or go out to potty he sits on my feet and stares at me. Then there is the rapid shaking of the ears to wake me up. He is very smart!!!!
The human looks so terrified. I wonder if he's gonna keep the cat or not :))
Try sleeping with three dogs and two cats. Some times three and the spouse. Fun night!
Somebody has been peeking in our bedroom window. 4 dogs AND 3 cats allow hubby and I on the bed. But only if we sleep on opposite edges of the bed.
