Every Day This Cat Was Coming To Woman’s Work For Food, Until One Day He Was Hit By A Car; $6,000 Later…
Meet Mister Pickle, a stray cat who was struck by a car, underwent $6000 worth of medical treatment, and finally found a loving forever home. One woman named Melissa Popham who works at a pet shop says she would feed the kitty whenever he stopped by their store. Then the feline went missing for 5 days and the poor thing came back looking like something from a horror movie. Popham and her co-worker called a vet who started treating the cat’s huge body abscess and a broken jaw.
Around 2 months later, a miraculous transformation happened. Mister Pickle is all happy and fluffy now. Not only does he have a loving owner, he also has a cat brother from another mother named Ted, and the two enjoy sleeping together.
“Pickle is absolutely a wonderful cat, pet and friend. He is loved so much and I am so pleased to share my life with him,” Popham told Bored Panda.

Thank you kind human for taking in Mr. Pickle and giving him a brother and a loving forever home! Thank God he wasn't killed by that car. He looks so content and happy now. (My short little story...one of my two adopted kitties was brought into the SPCA by a homeless woman who found her in a dumpster. It broke my heart and I found that out AFTER she chose me to be her mama. She immediately purred when I picked her up that first time and I knew she was mine and I was hers. ) 💖 🐱
The fact that this cat is so well right now, makes me so happy, I read this and smiled so much I love it <3
Poor kitty. He knew who to go back to when he was injured. Bless you ❤
I would say that there's a great lesson to be learned from this story: When you see a stray cat, feeding it occasionally is not enough. Take the responsibility to get the cat to a vet, spay/neuter, keep the cat, find a good home, or as a last resort, find a no-kill shelter - don't forget to donate some money to them (after all, it's better to have a cat that didn't have to go through pain and suffering and a $6,000 vet bill!)
Yes we had trapping plans in action when this happened. But agree with you nonetheless.

I have a "feral" boy who is just all over me outside and stands and looks through the door at me. I'd love to bring him in but afraid of marking. He was neutered last year but I've never had a male inside. How do you litter box train a mature male cat?
$6,000 Later? An operation and TONS OF LOVE AND CARE later. Who cares about money when your heart is full of love.
He's sooooo beautiful!!! Bless you for helping him and giving him a forever home to feel safe and loved.
That cat is a thief .. stealing people's hearts that is Glad he was a forever home now
I also feed - cat Pirate and cat Tamara, are very fond of raw beef.
