3 years ago I got sick of looking at the that perfectly pristine blank space on my daily cup of Starbucks. So I decided to do something about it.
Since then I have amassed well over 300 cup comics that are sitting in a storage tub in my basement, patiently waiting to be taken on a roving gallery bus tour across the globe (we'll mix in a boat for countries not connected to the United States). Until then, I will keep posting them to my Instagram account until I run out of money to buy coffee, or someone pushes me down and takes my pens away.

Starbucks cuts down virgin trees to make their 4 BILLION+ non-recyclable cups a year. Why not get a re-usable mug and use other people's throwaways to make your art? Better yet, do pieces that bring attention to this horrendous reality. Over 5 million trees a year will thank you! At least Joshua is re-using these cups for a better purpose..... Your beef should be with Starbucks (and most other coffee houses) not with Joshua. There are a load of other artists that 're-purpose' throw-away items. Nice Job Joshua - you made me have a good laugh.
