This Guy Walks Around At Night Pimping Random People’s Cars With Cardboard
Photographer Max Siedentopf prowls the streets of Amsterdam and “upgrades” random stranger’s cars with some masking tape and cardboard art. Why does he do it?
“Individuality, self-expression, and status are more important than ever these days,” Siedentopf told Vice. “But for some reason, you see that things as ordinary as cars are getting personalized less and less, while it could be a strange but great form of self-expression. I thought I’d do people a favor by giving them custom car mods.”
Though fiddling with people’s property is highly illegal, we just cannot get enough of Max’s car tuning art installations. Also, we are sure that the owners of these regular cars also had a great laugh after seeing their vehicles cardboard crafted in such a hilarious way. I bet the owners of the cars don't like that kind of stuff. I know I wouldn't.
so you wake up in the middle of the night or whenever, really, having an emergency that requires you to immediately jump in the car and drive somewhere. you'd have to deal with the cardboard that's been attached to your car just to get in, and on top of all, if you don't remove it and just start driving, you might have temperature issues because the cartboard is blocking most of the radiator. it might be for the lolz, but interacting with anyone's car without their consent is a no go if you ask me.
Love it lol I wonder if these people have actually wished to be in the program Pip My Car and the universe is answering lol they didn’t specify what they wanted 😆🤣🤣😂
This would crack me up if I wasn't parked in my garage and it happened. But I don't think he'd be interested in trying to pimp a Vette, which would make me jealous and wish I had a Pinto or something to get modded. Wouldn't be mad at all since it does no damage to the car and is audacious and funny.
That is the BEST “Vandalism” Ever! I would laugh my a*s off and lose all control if I walked out and someone had done that to my car... Love It!
The spoilers throw me off though. They belong on the trunk, not the roof. I mean, there are special spoilers that are used on the back of the roof as well, especially on hatchbacks, but the ones he made aren’t that type and it bothers me as a car fanatic. 😂
Kinda funny but I would be so irritated coming out to this on my way to work, would have to skip getting tea in the morning :(
Hilarious, but a weird message behind it though. All these upgrades just represent obnoxious cars and most of the time not the most pleasant owners. It's already a bit messy in Amsterdam so some cardboard when they rip it off and throw it on the side walk won't make a difference :)
What a waste of cardboard... and of people time because they are the ones who have to put it off when they go out to do something more important than losing time. And honestly, it doesn't make these cars supercars, it makes them hideous and ridiculous.
It's cool, it's cool. But if you were late for work and have to take all that c**p out you woule be mad! Ahah
Pretty sure that would waste about only a few minutes of someone's time.

that's why he used masking tape. It's made not to dame paint on cars or leave residue
Load More Replies...Not funny all and quite dangerous. What if someone has an emergency? They would have to either waste time fixing it or drive like and get pulled over.
Do it to your mate's car for a laugh. Do it to mine and you'd better hope I don't catch you - cars are private property, not a toy for you to mess with and possibly damage.
It's maskingtape. It's designed not to damage cars
