Girl Remembers Why Her Parents Hate Her – Once She Hit Someone’s Car And Pretended To Be Dead
The love a parent has for their child is often called unconditional love, but sometimes kids cause their parents so much stress that it makes them wonder “do my parents possibly hate me?” Twitter user Maddie took to the platform to share her story of why she thinks her parents “hate her,” and while you might not have done something quite as extreme as this girl, you probably have a story of your own.
Scroll down below to read this hilarious thread and find out why her father doesn’t see her as ‘iconic’ but more ‘bubonic,’ and while you’re here share some of your own troublemaker tales in the comments!

And people in the comments had mixed feelings
That's a lot of effort to post something that could be summarized in: "Girl uses golfcart to wreck a car. Plays dead. Allows hospital bills to run up to a massive ammount and wastes the time of hospital staff. Is proud to be daddy's little snowflake." End of story
This needs to be up at the top of the story... would really save people time.
Load More Replies...I'm grateful for the comment of the paramedics that they now check it with a "minor" "pain stimulus" and not really surprised by another commenting that this happens all the time. People do dumb things especially young people and especially when panicking and afraid of getting in (even more) trouble and then they make things even worse.
Strange way to look for a modeling job, but seems to be the new kind of job applications nowadays. Sad that good sites like BP get run over by attention seekers without any talent.
"if this were me I wouldn't have pretended to be dead, mom would've killed me" --me too dude, me too.
Wow some of you are cold hearted haters she was a 15 year old girl who was afraid to tell her parents she made a mistake. I am a parent if I got that call all I would care about is that she was alright. Her parents "should" have had insurance I know I do so the medical bills would not have been much at all. How much damage could a golf cart have done I would have paid that also. I would have sat her down and asked her why she felt she could not talk to me. There was the biggest problem my boys new they could always talk to me and something like this would never have happen. I think the parents dropped the ball there has to be a reason why a 15 year old girl would be that scared to talk to her parents. The guys trying to insult her are trying to get her attention because she is a hottie. They figure she will write them back and say that's not true and they will go oh yeah I m sorry hey you want to go out let it go guys you are trolls.
I don't really see what the big deal is and I don't understand why people are so angry.

I'm shocked the first responders did not pick up on it in the field. Really. I do know that a teenage girl faking an overdose will likely NOT get out of an activated charcoal wash out of her stomach no matter how many times she tells the doc she is faking. Better to err on the side of caution.
This story seems so contrived. First, she "forgot" this happened? - and then goes on very lightheartedly telling everyone that she did this horrible thing? I'm not buying it. People are very generous with their lies just to get attention in this social-media-crazed world today. Very disingenuous then AND now. Does Bored Panda have any standards for their posts?
Well this isn't new. And this isn't funny either. Don't know but it sounds like she has Factitious Disorder (or something similar). Then again..... She could be just an attention-whore. Who cares anyways? She wasted a lot of people's time and money. Totally moronic. Sounds like she's just trolling everyone in real life and on the net by bringing this issue up. P.S. Factitious Disorder is a thing. Read here for those who don't know about the condition and judge for yourself (I think I've seen this on a medical show a few times.) : https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/factitious-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20356028
Wow, I would feel so horrible if I did this and wouldn't want the whole internet to know.
Oh my god she was 15 save the hate people she was a young girl afraid of her parents and she made a mistake let it go. I am a parent and as soon as I heard she was fine I could careless about the other stuff. They have health insurance or at least I do that would have covered most of the hostipal bill and how much damage can a golf cart do. I would have paid that and not said a word. I would then have sat down with her and asked why she felt she cold not talk to me. Some of this is on the parents if you are in your kids lives they know they can talk to you about anything even screw ups. They also know you will love them no matter what if they don't know this then you dropped the ball.
What? Paying for ambulance???!!!??? What kind of 3 world country does this girl live in?
In my family we always pretend to be dead. I would come home and my brother would be lying at the bottom of the stairs with his eyes staring blankly, I put ketchup all over the floor with a knife next to me for my mother to find. My mother even used to get in on the fun and pretended to get knocked over by a car. Reading this back, I admit we are pretty weird but we were all into horror in a big way!
Errr... dude. This is literally not worth attacking anyone about! Keep your goddamn opinion to yourself. Button it up. Just because you're "anonymous" doesn't mean you get to be an a*****e. Yeah, it was a d**k move. So WHAT!? You can't claim you've never been a d**k before
Yeah once I had a internet fight with a guy named "Nate higgers" yeah you heard me right. He was a title a*****e and it was him vs. like 15 people. We are all pretty sure a that his account got deleted though.

Obviously someone who is an avid twit-user is not an antisocial person. But as many BPs pointed out, she seems to have a lack of conscience/remorse for her part in the incident.
