You can catch Jolie dazzle at Hester’s Hideout’s Gin & Tease every Saturday night.

VICKY BUTTERFLY

From a cloud of butterflies exploding from her glittering costumes, to breathtaking routines perched on a twinkling crescent moon, Butterfly’s choreographed performances artfully marry the macabre with the erotic to wow audiences the world over.

As one of the leading forces of nouveau-burlesque, her breathtaking art incorporates costume design, ballet, circus and athletics.

MISTER MEREDITH

This impossibly naughty compere and comedian is most (in)famous for his wild piano sing-alongs, which get the whole audience involved.

VELMA VON BON BON

Voted one of the top 50 burlesque performers in the world for two years running and being named one of Burlesque Magazine’s top ten burlesque acts for the past three years, Velma is a tour-de-force in neo-burlesque.

The quirky English Rose has artfully fused glamour and comedy in what she calls “Glomedy,” which sees her tickle funny bones with her wonderfully diverse acts doing everything from riding oversized flamingos to playing monkey organs.

THE ROUSTABOUTS

You can catch one half of them (Mark) at Hester’s every Friday.

The international sensation has brought her show-stopping dances and teases all over the UK, Europe, America and Australia.

PROFESSOR KELSO

This Edinburgh Fringe sell-out cabaret character and magician hypnotises his audience with astonishing tricks and chilling mind games.

Kelso’s act leaves everybody glued to their seats as he makes his way around the room, singling out members of the audience and making them question what’s real.

MAT FRASER

The burlesque powerhouse, rockstar, actor, writer and performance artist has thalidomide-induced Phocomelia and says that “burlesque is one of the outsider genres of performance that accepts different-bodied people, notably in my case disabled people’.
