Has anyone tried this? Or know the science as to why it works? Just curious...

Hey, I close my left ear when the MTR is too noisy... And I thought it's funny that that works, so this is why!

That makes sense... I usually focus more on my left ear when tuning my guitar, and when asking someone to repeat themselves I often turn my head to listen on my right.

Ahhh that's why I unconsciously turn my head to the left a little bit when saying "sorry say that again?" That way my right ear moves closer

This is why if you look on your ear buds it has the letter's L or R and you notice that you get better surround sound if you put them in the correct ear...

Yep. That's why my nephew still could not talk properly at age 4 - his left ear was dominant. It took 2 years and loads of $$ in neurotherapy to fix... He's fine now. Luckily :)

This is rather interesting to me because my left ear is completely and I depend solely on my right ear. Adaptation?

There has been times im singing and i choose to sit with my head a certain direction towards the music whether i was wanting to sing like the artist or be more artistic with my pitch.

Thanks. I'm left dominant, with ambi tendencies. Great music in full stereo is like an ear/brain orgasm.

Ah that is why I can only use the phone on the right ear. When I try using the left I have trouble hearing what they are saying :-/

A better explanation would be, to put your thumb in your mouth and blow. As if you were blowing up a balloon. It's the bearing down that slows your heart rate.
