So, if you were going to have a big wedding that happens to fall during quarantine, go ahead and get married, even if by Zoom. Then later, once the threat has passed, have the ceremony and party. Who cares if it’s not exactly your real wedding day—-it’s still a celebration of your marriage!

These posts range from questionable taste on the part of the bride and groom (relatively harmless) through the inconsiderate (restrictive rules and/or demands for expensive gifts) to the truly dangerous. I'd attend the first, reconsider the second and definitely skip the third.

Sometimes I feel a lot of people are putting way too much emphasis on all the external display and rules on how a wedding should be. In the end the only thing that it is all about is love.... Well, there's definitely WRONG places... like proposing to a very private introvert right in front a large crowd with everyone watching. Or proposing to someone romantic, who envies people with showy proposals, by the toilets of a rest stop. If you don't have the awareness or respect to factor in your partners basic desires when proposing, you probably shouldn't get married anyway. It shouldn't require mind reading, though.
