It really is infinitely more likely that there were major floods in different areas at different times. Pockets of fresh water or appopriately salinated salt water would not happen because of currents. But, it did occur to me that maybe open wooden tanks could be built; if they could construct water tight boats, then they could construct water tight troughs. We know from modern fish keeping that that would not be sufficient, but it is a thought nevertheless.

People are hypocrites because we had to evolve to be able to hold hypocritical thoughts and feelings in our heads and go on with life. I do not remember the details about this, but it is a thing, and it is interesting (although frustrating and sad). As far as the other things, I say this with the most love and wanting to give you a huge big hug and help you more than I can here, but I think you could really do yourself some good if you can find a therapist to help you work some things out. There are so many reasons that those things can be going on, no one could begin to parse them out for you here. Both are very possibly linked to how you feel about yourself. If that is not something you can afford to do, there are ways to find cheap or free therapy or people who can help you find those things. Maybe talk to someone at your school about it??
