Upon further inspection of the photos of the listing, they reveal the catch—the pool is sitting right there in the middle of the apartment. What better way to start the day than to fill your lungs with a fresh breath of chlorine, right?

But somehow, people on the internet aren’t that enthusiastic about the apartment. In fact, when one person shared the listing on Twitter, they wrote that they need “to know the lunatic who built this and the story behind it.”

i wish there was a layout rendering, i just can't quite picture it.
I don't see any in the apartment, and the pool has been there for YEARS. Proper ventilation has probably taken care of that. They did a good job building the silly thing. ...////.... As to the chlorine smell...there probably isn't any. Most people have only been to public pools that have to be heavily chlorinated because people pee in the pool. We've had a private pool, and you don't smell the chlorine at all - because there isn't any to speak of.

Fun fact: The "chlorine smell" from a swimming pool is not actually chlorine. It's chloramine, which is produced when chlorine reacts incompletely with nitrogen compounds from the human body. A properly managed private pool will not smell like a public pool.

I was all set to snap it up until I saw how small the pool was. Plus weekend jaunts to London are such a hassle now days.
