Haha kind of true for me.. I've always been an introvert that finds it hard to make friends and often bullied, but this one girl who was a popular extrovert took me under her wing, got people to speak to me and if anybody bullied me she would tell them to stop and they would listen to her

As an introvert, I can verify this is 100% true. Every friend I have is one who decided we were going to be friends and I just kind of followed along. But I love them; they're great friends.
This has happened in my school. There is now a giant family, of which I am the child of my niece. Its a strange family tree. Like actually, "You are my child now."
Have a guy get a shoe stolen so you give him your shoe so he can chase down the guy to get his shoe back. thats how i made one of my first freinds when i moved. its been years and we are still freinds.
…but once we find you, you have to do some work. We don't want to do all the work in a friendship. 90% of my friends are shy/socially anxious/introverts. If I didn't have a lot of friends, I wouldn't see anybody.

My sister's cat suddenly seemed to get fatter overnight. We thought it was doing the above until one day we found it fighting with another cat - which looked exactly like it, but thinner. Things went 'click' and we realized we had been feeding an impostor who kept chasing my sister's actual cat off when he tried to come home. Smartest thing I've ever seen an animal do.
