Thor, The Bengal cat, is one of those felines that look right into your soul and beyond. Just look at his emerald green eyes shining from his beautiful tabby cat fur – is this even real?! The mighty kitty’s coat is so purrfect that even the most prized show cats would be jealous! Could this cute cat be more majestic? We don’t think so. Neither does the Internet as Thor has gone viral since his photos appeared online.
Bengal cats are not your regular domestic cat breed as they still have some wildcat DNA in them, and being partly wild gives them unique character traits. The Bengals love to splash in the water, are very vocal and playful, can learn tricks and even like to take walks on a leash! Oh, and of course, the most marvelous trait is these cat’s colors – marbled or striped coat, that varies from black and gray to sandy and orange.
“I definitely feel like his servant!” Thor’s owner Rani Cucicov told Bored Panda. “Whenever he opens his mouth, we are ready to serve him, but I gotta admit that we get lots of love in place for it!”

“I definitely feel like his servant!” Thor’s owner Rani Cucicov told Bored Panda
“Whenever he opens his mouth, we are ready to serve him”
“But I gotta admit that we get lots of love in place for it!”
“Thor is a very active and lovable cat!”
“He talks all day long and if we don’t answer his meowing, he gets pissed”
“And 1 time a day, mostly before going to sleep, he gets crazy and climbs on the walls”
“He seems like a child who doesn’t want to go to sleep”
“But after a few minutes he gets calm and goes to bed”
“When we have a visitor, he doesn’t run away like some cats, but he goes to check who it is and to smell their scent”
“And if he likes them, they will hear it from Thor himself with a few massive meows”
Thank you, Rani Cucicov, for talking to Bored Panda about your beautiful cat!

Please read the following page on a cat wildlife sanctuary's website to understand more about this issue. http://www.wildcatsanctuary.org/education/species/hybrid-domestic/what-is-a-hybrid-domestic/
Alyssa, judging by the comments on that site from Bengal owners, and the site's belief that hybrids should not be bred in the first place, I have to say that the info you get from the site is pretty one-sided. I'm sure there are lots of people who have had bad experiences with the Bengal because they didn't know what to expect and were overwhelmed by the energy and intelligence of these cats. Others have had cats with medical problems. But you must admit that medical problems in purebred cats (or moggies, for that matter) are not that uncommon. Certain breeds can carry genetic markers for different diseases, and there are some breeders who don't test their breeding cats for these conditions before putting them together to produce kittens. But not all breeders are like that. Responsible breeders test their potential queens and studs for any condition that should not be passed on, and if the cat is a carrier, it will not be bred.

These are beautiful cats, but they are not just like a house cat. They require a fully educated owner willing to be flexible with their behaviors and litter box issues. Breeders just want to sell you a cat. Don't expect to hear about the challenges of owning a Bengal. www.wildcatsanctuary.org/education/species/hybrid-domestic/what-is-a hybrid-domestic/
Actually that's not true with all breeders. The woman I bought my Bengal from has been very helpful and informative of the cares and needs of owning a Bengal cat. The positives out way the negatives.

And, no, Lisa, you do NOT have good intentions. Don't let the fact that you have never had a lasting relationship lead you to try and bring everyone else down as well.
God Lisa, what a downer, negative Nelly you are. For God's sake just let her enjoy her beautiful cat! You pessimists who always have to p**s in everyone's cheerios make me sick. Begone Satan!
Female cat named Thor, hmmm, that sounds wrong in so many levels....
Thor is referred to throughout this article as "he!" Male.

Unfortunately Dallas got run over aged 1 but his brother is still here, he's just not quite as bengal acting as his brother who was more dog than cat-like in some ways with his constant need for companionship and mischief lol
While I agree that these are gorgeous and adorable cats, I feel uncomfortable knowing that many people who Oooo, and Ahhh over these types of pics will then seek out a breeder to BUY a specific breed, rather than adopting one of the millions of equally gorgeous and adorable languishing in shelters across the US. "Please don't breed or buy while homeless pets die." #LoveIsAdoptable
Thor is beautiful. I just wrote a book about my Thor who was a tabby cat. https://www.amazon.co.jp/LIFE-TIMES-THOR-Special-Journey-ebook/dp/B01JY4E2EC
this is an extremely beautiful cat...I love ALL cats but he is gorgeous!!!!
I have a Bengal, though not as beautiful as Thor. Mine is also like a young child who doesn't want to sleep. But he's not all that wild. You can teach cats some things. Mine fetches better than a dog, and is incredibly gentle with my baby granddaughter. And yes they are expensive.
Not only are these cats incredibly personable, nothing 'feral' about them, they are the only breed I have found that my son's allergies do not react to. Indeed, they are more like a working dog than a cat, domestic dog breeds still have a strong prey drive, as do Bengals, and like working dog breeds need the extra input from their owners to stimulate their intelligence and satiate their curiosity, so do Bengals. I have kept cats for years, and in my experience, domestic short hair moggies are much less interested in human interaction than my Bengals, who miaow, whine and beg just as dogs do. Why is it different to have a ratting dog breed such as any terrier, a prey obsessed greyhound, or a tracking hound, all of which can be difficult to control when on a scent, than it is to have a cat that responds when called yet likes to hunt? Yes these animals have wild ancestry, but so does every single domestic animal kept as a pet today. All dogs come from wolves, all cats come from wild cats.
look, what I found on internet)) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDQswqrUoic
Hey! When he is going make kittens how we may contact in order to get one? :) he is such adorable...
I love all the pic of this beautiful bengel where can I get one I would like to adopt or buy one just as adorable
He climbs walls maybe because he has inherited the leopard characteristics... leopards sleep on trees...
Our neighbors had a Bengal boy who would NOT stay inside. We lived near a big park with lots of foot traffic and on-street parking. The cat (I don't remember his name) was incredibly friendly and often would jump into our car when we arrived home. One day he disappeared, and it was assumed that he met some new people he liked and went home with them. I only hope they knew what they were getting into.
Every cat bred = a cat killed in a shelter. Don't breed, or buy; adopt and save a life.
Probably the most beautiful Cat I've ever seen! He looks like he is one step away from the jungle!
Yes, let's keep breeding cats for looks while so many are euthanized in shelters everyday or die on the streets.
maybe he is fixed and the removed his "jewels" lol
Load More Replies...that cat needs to apologize to everyone here by letting them rub her for being too damn cute!
I bet that cat is $10k easily. My shelter baby is cuter, and she was $80. 20160806_0...4819d5.jpg
He is beautiful!! Entertaining getting one? Be informed: https://shar.es/1wq9sW He is likely to be in a cage or euthanized within a year or two. His beauty is wild (urination everywhere, highly human aggressive after 2, not social per his genome, etc). Highest population/breed of death/surrender of ANY feline. Let's just enjoy the pictures and bury the industry. Cool? (And good luck to Thor's family!)
Well that's a beautiful animal but they could well be in for a shock in a few years. Bored panda should probably cover more than just the nice aspects of wild pets like these. http://www.wildcatsanctuary.org/education/species/hybrid-domestic/what-is-a-hybrid-domestic/
What makes you think that all people have negative experiences with Bengals? Have you ever lived with one? No one who has known the love and companionship of one of these guys would come across the way you people do.
