Now THIS is what we should promote! The result of a healthy, active lifestyles of people with strong willpower.
Enough with the pounds. Use a system that the rest of the world can understand. Only saw one upload that wrote kg. And yes, amazing work!
Just divide by 2.2 for kgs.
There are going to be a lot of people here claiming that the end result of the hard work these people have put in makes them "too thin". They're not. Not one. This is a problem. It's sad that we've gotten to the point where so many people think that being overweight is "normal". A weight loss like this is only sustainable with a complete lifestyle change that is life long. Good on them.
Being overweight is normal? Wow... Me being Asian, five kg heavier and people will start saying that you are fat. 😭
yeah. it's embarrassing to be a chubby asian 😂 when you're skinny.. no problem, when you gained a few lbs. people were like "why you so fat? stop eating! " 😢
Haha. Ditto! Plus I'm short too! 10lbs and I look dramatically different!!
But being overweight shouldn't be a put down
Unfortunately for you, I haven't seen on person here claiming that! Way to assume how other people think.
I confess, I expected a whole lot of people would be here chanting that the before photos were "healthy" and the afters were "emaciated". I run into that a lot. Happens all the time. Sorry you felt the need to get your snotty out.
My bff thought she was over weight so she went full on anorexic from dieting and it's heartbreaking, but I'm proud of these people!!
I'd like to know how they look so good at the end of all that work. I'm down 30 pounds sine April and I have arm wings and belly flaps. Did they have surgery for the excess skin or is there some other method to tighten up those dangly bits of skin?
Yeah some surely look awesome for having lost so much; I lost a total of about 100 pounds a decade ago, and I still haven't tightened up was 275 pounds and am currently between 160-165 at 5 foot 7 inches; my legs, butt, breasts, and lower stomach are pretty sad looking....for some reason no issue with the arms. I do still consume more sugar than I should though, and I heard that makes the elasticity of your skin bad.
Willpower is not the way. That means dominating yourself. The way is being kind to yourself and getting in shape because it's what's best for you.
They are all very inspiring people and have done great work! But I have noticed that if you have quite slim legs (calves) before losing weight then you have amazing legs after. But the people who have very large valves before, they will end up with cankels even after the weightloss (they may be even underweight but they still have cankles) - and that is very sad. I'm worried because I have also large calves and the prospective is grim - I will never have beautiful legs :(
Isn't number 40 and 65 the same girl on the before pic
Lots of folks did really well! Very inspiring.
I wish there was a way to stay completely motivated...I started working out over the summer and it went pretty good. I never understood that it takes time to get to a level where you are confident about yourself. I don't want to be skinny i want to be healthy ams confident.
Instead of striving for an objective goal (i.e. how you look in the mirror), focus on an objective goal (e.g. increasing your muscle mass, reducing BF percentage, increase your 1RM, reducing your 5 mile time etc). When you have an attainable goal to work towards, it's a lot easier to stay motivated. From personal experience, when you train for performance, the aesthetic changes will naturally follow.
I don't know any of these people. But I'm sooo proud of each one of them!!
Wonderful... Work out
These are really extreme. Sustainable weigh loss is usually a maximum of 2 pounds per month. You can dedicate your whole life to temporary weight loss or you can commit to a healthier life style that is sustainable but will take time.
