Almost two generations have passed since the first Star Wars film was released in cinemas, and over the last 38 years, a total of six feature length movies have graced the silver screen. Now, with Episode VII already released to select audiences, is the perfect time to see how our beloved actors have changed over the years.

I feel bad for him. People were so cruel to him and he was just a kid. Who would turn down a role in Star Wars? If the casting was wrong, it wasn't his fault but grown a*s people were tearing this little kid a new one. So wrong. I hope he's alright but I think that experience was extremely negative and heartbreaking for him. Poor guy.
Right? I think we all were cuter before puberty came and threw a wrench in the works. :)

He did a good job as Anakin. I am shocked to find out Phantom Menace and Anakin were hated so much! I joined Star Wars only a year ago and loved the movies! All of them!

For those that haven't seen the news articles. He has Schizophrenia. He attacked his Mom in a episode of schizophrenia this last year and was locked up for it. I think he's in a mental healthcare facility now.
Terrible child actor, but I'm truly sorry how it all worked out for him. His scenes are really painful to watch, though I don't blame him, I blame the thousand other people working on the film who didn't have the nerve to say something to Lucas.
