Such a cute family photo but why so much hate? People need to chill instead of judging strangers. These are supposed to be funny photos of parenthood, not to judge the parent(s).
It's getting really yucky on some threads mate cos of a******s. I'm 52 kg and 169cm tall and got called a crack head. I actually suffer malabsorption from losing my gall bladder and hospital said I can't eat saturated fats as they are now toxic to my body. I used to weigh 65! It hurts so much to be body shamed. This lady is beautiful like all in her own way. Thank you for sticking up for her!

Regrets having kids. Woman looks miserable. They tell you , you will get endlessly tired but no one tells you that you might be miserable.
At no point in my life did I ever want children. Thank you for affirming that decision. But I Congratulate one and all on being wonderful parents.
The interesting thing about this series is that it will strongly confirm those that got children and those who do not want to have children in their decisions.
if you decide to have kids and think your life will stay exactly the same, you're in for a big shock, it changes, mostly for the better, there are some tough days, but the good outweigh them by a country mile! I'm not trying to convince you, just saying. You need to change your opinion of how your life will be, if you don't want to, kids probably aren't for you. but if you want yourself a rollercoaster life or laughs, love, vomit, nappies, jokes, family and all that, then kids are the best. (disclaimer: kids aren't the only route to the above description of happiness, but it works for me)
Honestly, even if you don't have children, do you really think you'll be half naked kissing a bottle of liquor in a club for the rest of your life? Because that's pretty pathetic as well, to be honest. Being that old person still trying to party hard with the kids at 50 is rather grotesque.

We had four kids in four years (no twins), I have no idea how we managed physically, mentally or financially. Lots of ups and downs, lots of twists and turns, but in the end when I think of how my kids have grown up and who they have become I am completely unable to imagine my life any other way. Now when my wife and I think back we laugh at the hard times and the c**p they pulled on us or put us through. If I could go back in time I would try to be a better Dad and husband, short of that I wouldn't change anything.
I can barely even look at them, they're not hilarious, they're friggin tragic. This myth of mother hood is still alive and well, that you're not happy until you have kids, it's c**p.
This makes me glad to be childfree and fixed. I've known since childhood myself I didn't want to ruin my life by having to deal with the stress of raising children. Those after pics reconfirmed my decision to raise cats instead of kids.

It’s funny, I know a lot of women my age (55) and older who say quite bluntly that if they had it to do over again, they’d not have kids, have had fewer kids, or would have waited longer before they had them. ... It’s not that they don’t love their kids - because they do. It’s about the opportunities they missed.

More living proof that not having kids was the perfect decision for us!
I wonder if there are people out there who don’t lose their identity to their children. People who carry on as they did before, with an extra family member in tow. Otherwise I can’t understand choosing to give up your identity.
This makes parenting seem like a deep loss. Loss of your vibrancy, enthusiasm, dreams and time for self care. I think the idea of expanding ones family is appealing, but the immense loss of self seems like a bad thing to happen to a person. Even if you gain a child.
i thought it was selfish == cosi wanted someome to care for me when i got old
That's not selfish. That's just what family is all about - supporting each other.

LOL I love how everyone is either exhausted looking or sleeping with the kids
apart from the fact that most of them seem to have been saved from maternity / paternity, otherwise they would be alcoholics. but from almost all the photos of the after, I see confirmed my choice gained at 17, and proudly carried forward until today, not to have children. all who sing the praises of having a child, but flying over the sleepless nights, the many s**t to clean, the cries, not having a minute for himself, in a bed, in a healthy and clean clothes.
It sure seems like many of these parents, esp Moms, had some sort of alcohol issues before they became parents (and hopefully curtailed that after becoming parents - know a number of people who grew up with an alcoholic parent, which ultimately makes them not a great parent).
