Look, we're sure your grandma makes an absolutely kick-ass Thanksgiving pumpkin or apple pie. We just need you to stop everything you're doing right now and look at the masterpieces this woman from Seattle is baking, though.
Lauren Ko has only been in the pie biz for a little over a year, but you'd never be able to tell by looking at what's coming out of the oven at her house. Her desserts are so intricate and artistic, it's hard to imagine digging a serving knife into that beautifully-latticed crust or delicately-arranged fruit filling. Her Instagram page has blown up as a result of her culinary adventures, and she now boasts a following of more than 68 thousand.
"I usually have some nebulous idea in my head for design and then just improvise as I go along, depending on how well the dough or fruit cooperates with my vision. My final products are generally happy accidents, which is why I'm especially stunned by the feedback," Ko told Buzzfeed News.
Scroll down to get inspired, though we can't even begin to imagine how long it would take one of us lazy pandas to make something this extra.

Makki, yes. The lighter colored are rainier cherries. Super delicious!!
Load More Replies...aw it would suck if the yellow cherries started ripening before the pie was gone
those are rainier cherries; they're red and yellow

finally my favorite part of pie is not the filling but the crust and this has it and it looks cool

This is a freeform tart. After seeing the care she puts into her crusts, this one is a bit jarring, but I'll bet it's just as yummy!
These creations are a monument to explain why Instagram and other photo sites exist. Some things must be seen to be understood.
Eat it ... or just stare at it ? Reminds me of the Jewish dilemma: Bacon on sale.
I would somehow not eat this and mount it on the wall and then wait for it to crawl to hopefully the bin
I was thinking that her photographs would be gorgeous in a kitchen, like motivational geometry.
Load More Replies...I would NEVER have the patience! Plus, I would be like...its gonna be cut up and eaten anyway! Whats the point?! (Unless she can make a lot more $ than these than an average pie)
The pies needed to be shown after they were baked, otherwise, wasn’t that appealing...
What a refreshing take on baking. I love her play with color, design and it makes me what to actually bake myself.
These pies are truly works of art! I could enjoy all of them I think!
Cool. To bad somebody's going to eat the first slice and ruin the whole effect. Oh, what the hell, I'll volunteer.
They look beautiful and seem tasty, too! Congratulations for your patience and determination to make the world a better place, one pie to another!
These are so cool! The internet has made it impossible for normal people to take pride in what we do since there is always something 50 - 114 times cooler that somebody has created and posted online. Thanks for the humility, internet!
Yeah but you can still be proud of what you do. Also the internet has made it impossible for us to just be content
