This is a personal and international project that aims to recreate some ballet paintings as photographs – moments from the past that display the passion, commitment and spirit of ballet dance. The project includes countries like Argentina, El Salvador, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay .
What I do is prepare the teams in every country, search for talented girls, and find make up/hair artists who are in charge of doing makeup and hair design as it appears in the original painting.
My goal is to present talented teams working in different countries to their regions and to the world and, most of all, to refresh the artistic look of these new generations that make everyday use of photographs with interactive technology, which can help relive those moments of surrender and love from the dancer and renew that attention from the painter, aspects that were sealed in the past on a single painting.
Recreating the light, the pose, the makeup, immediately inserts us to another time in history, both as creators and as spectators.
