We all know that we shouldn’t let the haters get to us, but that’s easier said than done. Luckily, people like Vega Blossom provide us with everyday examples of how to stand up for oneself. While the 19 year-old was waiting in line at her favorite bakery in Valparaiso, Indiana, she overheard a woman behind her say, “Let’s hope this fat bitch doesn’t buy all the cupcakes.” As a response, Blossom developed a savage revenge plan against the rude customer and executed it flawlessly.
“When I heard the nasty things the women said, I honestly wanted to cry,” Vega told Daily Mail. “It really hurt my feelings.”
“How could these grown women be so mean to someone they’ve never met, let alone talked to,” she wondered. “But I swallowed the hurt and thought of the best possible thing I could do back to them that wasn’t horrible, but that would teach them a lesson about respecting others.”

How did human become so horrible? I would REALLY like to know? I will tell those who have been bullied, as I was as a young teenager some advice I learned. I wasn't thrilled at being a psychology major in college. Only did so because I was talked out of what I really wanted. But I think it was God's plan based on what I learned. One is about bullies. The main reason people bully is because deep inside they hate themselves. They are miserable, unhappy, so discontent with their own lives and they may not even be fully aware of how bad it is, that their minds employ a defense mechanism. The only way this could be better was if she had deliberated at the counter for a few minutes before raising her voice contemplatively (to be certain that she's heard): "You know, I only came in for six, but there's this little voice saying, 'Buy them all!', so I think I will!" Only problem I have is that I never think of the perfect comeback until the next morning. So, she's not only brave enough to call them on their rudeness, but quick-witted enough to come up with it on the spot! Maybe "the little voice" will learn from this, but I doubt it.

When I go to a bakery (being naturally, non-diet thin), I invariably get a comment that "Oh, I bet she throws that up as soon as she eats it. A******s will make comments whether you are big or small - it has nothing to do with our body size, but their MIND size.
is it me or are the more right leaning people in the world coming out to spit their poisonous hate? maybe the light just isn't letting them hide anymore. but it seems like every time something about being positive towards overweight people comes up. some trash tier human beings decide its their chance to call them out for being overweight and for people "celebrating it". to those who fit this bill i got 2 things to say to you. 1, we are CELEBRATING being fat we are encouraging people to love their imperfect bodies. that doesnt mean seeing "fat" as healthy. it means supporting positive reinforcement. and that leads to 2. be aware of the saying "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" if you want someone to change for anyones sake. you do it with positive. *compliment improvement compliment* this form of conversation is proven to work AND be more effective. stop hating and learn to give love instead.
This is what makes me dislike people even more, they call people fat and ugly to make themselves feel better.

How did human become so horrible? I would REALLY like to know? I will tell those who have been bullied, as I was as a young teenager some advice I learned. I wasn't thrilled at being a psychology major in college. Only did so because I was talked out of what I really wanted. But I think it was God's plan based on what I learned. One is about bullies. The main reason people bully is because deep inside they hate themselves. They are miserable, unhappy, so discontent with their own lives and they may not even be fully aware of how bad it is, that their minds employ a defense mechanism. The only way bullies can feel at ALL better about themselves is to try and put down and degrade and belittle, to humiliate, to shame and lower others to beneath themselves. As a kid I would have NEVER believed this. I would have VOWED the worst one's life was perfect. But I learned 20 years later of the home life of that family was a disaster, downright shameful. Remember this when bullied.

The only way this could be better was if she had deliberated at the counter for a few minutes before raising her voice contemplatively (to be certain that she's heard): "You know, I only came in for six, but there's this little voice saying, 'Buy them all!', so I think I will!" Only problem I have is that I never think of the perfect comeback until the next morning. So, she's not only brave enough to call them on their rudeness, but quick-witted enough to come up with it on the spot! Maybe "the little voice" will learn from this, but I doubt it.
I like the fact that u did something. I was a bit overweight. And for that ppl called me names and made fun of me to my face in school. But now I am probably the most successful among them. People can be real a******s but I didn't let that affect me. Guess I was really too much of a pacifist. I simply ignored them

The woman in the pictures is not fat. She actually looks pretty fit, has a build on her, flat belly and HUGE boobs. She also has a round face. It's just her type, not everyone has the same body type.
I don't know Vega, but I think she is beautiful, and so is her attitude! I myself have been overweight my whole life, and it is NOT easy to lose weight. It's not easy like, "Just back up from the table!" It doesn't work that way. Everyone is different--and everyone is beautiful, except for those with ugly attitudes!
It would hurt if a fat person sat on your. Me, I would have turned around, chest out, and said, "I beg your pardon?" I doubt they'd be dumb enough to repeat it to my face.

So you are saying it is okay to blurt out what you feel about another person's appearance? When I was pregnant with my last daughter, a woman said to her boyfriend "Oh, I should put this ice cream back, so I don't turn into a cow like her". And when I took my husband out to eat after getting a promotion (and I was eating a salad) , this table across from me (all young adults) started calling me Shamu. It's not right for people to completely tear down someone else, regardless. It just opens the door for anyone to shame anyone that they think is somehow less. One day it's about weight, then it will be about height, then etc.. etc. It stops when we control our mouths and keep our opinions to ourselves unless asked.
