50 Times People Had No Choice But To Take A Picture Of Their Miserable Fails (New Pics)
Not all days were made equal. You see, while sometimes everything falls according to plan, other days turn into 24-hour-long grueling benders that make you question why you even dared to get out of bed.
Blame it on bad luck, your daily horoscope, Mercury in retrograde, incantations, karma, or anything you want, but it doesn’t change the fact that misfortunes and fails do happen. Think of them as compulsory reality checks that remind us we are mere human beings with little to no control of greater things happening in this world. But philosophy aside, if we can’t change anything, at least we can have a good laugh at it.
Bored Panda has compiled this list of people having a worse day than you so you can feel slightly better today until your fail day comes, and when you’re done with this post, check out our previous features here, here and here with more failure.

After A Grueling Day At Work Without Food Where I Had To Wait 4 Hours For A Sample To Arrive Which Got Canceled, I Come Home At 7PM To Find All My Stuff In Garbage Bags
Turns out the cleaners my landlord sent cleared the wrong apartment.
It’s only human that things sometimes fall out of our hands. It feels like the world is against you for some unreasonable reason and to call it irritating would be a hefty understatement. But if we can’t change a bad day, we can always change the way we look at it. And here we’re going to need some help from a professional. So to find out more about resilience and the power of positivity, we spoke with Susan Petang, a certified divorce coach and the creator of “The Quiet Zone Coaching,” who teaches people how to stop feeling overwhelmed and start waking up happy in the morning again.
My Friend's Apartment Got Shot Up At 2AM By A Random Hoodlum
Now that should be at the top of the list! That is not only having a bad day. BUT.... almost getting killed, I got to say is a life altering 1!
In NSW Australia This Poor Woman's House Burnt Down In A Flood
The Only Path Back To My Room Blocked By Cute But Incredibly Angry Sea Lions
The first step towards building mental resilience is instead of viewing these unfortunate moments as "failures" or "misfortunes," view them as learning opportunities, Susan argues. She urges us to think of a couple of things: “What can we learn from this? How can we use this to become a better human being/worker/parent/partner?” and added that crucially, it's a matter of mindset.
Welp, I Almost Fell Into A Sinkhole Under My Porch. I Caught Myself On The Edge Of The Hole, From My Chest Down Was Just Dangling Beneath Me
Below the opening, the hole is about 10’ wide and 15’ deep. Fun fact I watched the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth yesterday.

Why Is My Watch Stopped? Oh
It turns out that some people are more naturally resilient than others. “But it's because they learned to think positively at a young age,” Susan said. “Our attitude towards life - the good, the bad, and the ugly - is formed before we go to kindergarten. Positivity isn't about putting your head in the sand and singing 'lalalala' when bad things happen; it's actually just the knowledge that we'll be OK no matter what,” the life coach explained.
Someone Broke Into My Car To Steal 10 Dollars Worth Of Candy And Toys I Bought To Give To My 4-Year-Old Students
"To whoever broke into my car. You caused $400 worth of damage to steal $10 worth of candy and toys from the 4-year-olds I teach. BRUH"

Moving Across The Country In A Few Weeks, Invited My Friends To A Farewell BBQ. All Canceled Or Just Didn't Show
According to Susan, positivity and resilience are very closely related. “Positivity is the understanding and belief that you'll be able to bounce back from anything; resilience is when you actually do it.”If your day is going against the plan and you feel like you could blow up anytime, Susan shared some very useful insights on how to put yourself together and get back on track.
“I teach my clients to use The Power Questions. It's a great way to interrupt the spiral of emotions when everything is hitting the fan!” They are as follows:
“How important is this, really? Don't make mountains out of molehills.
What is something positive and constructive I can do about this? Be solution-oriented instead of blame-oriented.
What emotions am I feeling right now? By identifying and labeling them, we shrink their power over us."

"Time To Go To Bed. What Are Those Dots On My Wall? Oh. Oh No"
Just Baked This Cake And Ate One Piece, Came Back And The Dog Licked The Icing Off As Far As She Could Reach
Susan continued: "What would the person I want to be do right now? What would your hero do? How do you wish you could behave? Well, do that!
How do I want to feel at the end of the day? Do you want to be embarrassed that you lost your sh*t, or proud that you did the best you could in a tough situation?
How does this help me with my goal? What IS your goal right now, anyway? Revenge? To make someone feel bad? Or to solve a problem? Make sure your intention is positive, and do whatever moves you toward that.”
Bought A PS5 For My Son’s Birthday. Someone At UPS Swapped It Out With A Rock
Are you sure it was UPS that did this? Wasn’t it actually the scammer you bought it from (have seen a lot of this posted online when people get “bargains” from sketchy sellers).
I Don’t Paint Often, So I Was Really Proud Of Myself For Remembering To Wear Gloves This Time
I Was Babysitting My Cousin While Her Dad Was Away On Business. He Told Me Dinner Is In The Freezer. Yum, Battery And Broccoli. Just Like Mom Used To Make
Susan also reminds us to always ask ourselves what lessons we can learn from this. “Sometimes it might only be that you're a Battle-Tested Warrior and managed to survive, but there is always something. Search for those positives. Focus on those,” she concluded.

Consequences Of Working In A -10°C Lab Where I Have To Wash My Hands 40 Times A Day
O'Keeffes handcream will fix this. My dad had bad hands too (not like this, but still) and that was the only thing that made them soft again.
I use this hand cream, and the foot cream all the time, it's a little pricy but it really is fantastic and worth every penny.
Load More Replies...Dude needs some heavy duty moisturiser- mine get like that very quickly when cleaning (and all the using hand sanitiser these days) as my skin is so sensitive, goes dry and cracks etc - I have these moisturising gloves, i smoother my hand in moisturiser and put them on at night - feels weird but it works, and stops me eating junk because I'm bored
used to get my first wife to sleep with socks on full of Vaseline felt bad for her, sometimes would bleed a little. big cracks.
Load More Replies...Agree it will help heal the chapped udder on a cow in cold weather does wonders on the hands.
Load More Replies...Eucerin for immediate relief, Miracle Of Aloe for daily maintenance. That's how I kept my hands from looking like this over this past winter (dry air and a job handling dirty cardboard so that I have to wash my hands every time I get a break and eat a snack, plus pulling safety gloves on and off a hundred times a day.)
Isn’t this why you use barrier cream before and after ? Or maybe he does and he just works a lot, they look so sore
Right there with you. It's awesome stuff, I use it overnight if my hands get particularly bad, but I like something less greasy in the mornings, hence Miracle Of Aloe
Load More Replies...Get urea cream , and some natural hand balm like Burt's Bees. If it's painful you can cover it in honey . It's helps clear it up too , but it's messy and doesn't work as well as the urea cream and balm
Rose canina oil will absorb in and fix those hands right up...goooood sh$t!!!
I feel your pain. I have eczema, and my hands have been like this for as long as I can remember.
Use some Bloody Knuckles by Duke Cannon. Unbelievable stuff!!! get it from amazon (of course)
One of the most common questions on a facebook group for childcare workers I'm in is how to deal with this.
Mine do this in the winter and I work with kids so lots of hand washing also, plus mild ocd
There is a 2 step process that works wonders for hands (or feet) like this. It is best to do it before bed. First, slather in some thick, dye and fragrance free lotion, CeraVe has a ultra thick cream that is the best). Let it absorb, then cover in a thin coat ofVaseline, auquafor, bagbalm, etc. The cream adds much needed moisture, and the Vaseline works as a barrier between the air, which can Rob your skin of much needed moisture, and your moisturized skin. Works wonders. And if you are feeling extra fancy and make it a 3 step process, get some cotton gloves and put them to wear overnight
My hands get a little like this just because it gets cold outside. 'Vaseline Intensive Care, Essential Healing' heals my hands overnight: vas-6269ec...da5390.jpg
I have dermatitis anyway. So my hands constantly crack and bleed. I relate. 😆
Oh how I feel this picture...Finally I've been able to cure my hands after months of pain (working in the hospital)
Needs some Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment...and BB hand salve thereafter.
Glove in a Bottle. Heals and forms a barrier. Artists use it. At the pharmacy.
Working Hands is good and affordable, or Eucerin. This is what my hands look like when I haven't scrubbed or put any lotion on for days in winter, and have been using harsh soaps and sanitizers.
