Nurse-Turned-Photographer Adds Smiles On Professional Baby Photos And It’s Hysterical (16 Pics)
Amy Haehl, a professional photographer and owner of Coffee Creek Studio, specializes in gorgeous photos of weddings, maternity and newborns. She takes some stunning pics of freshly-baked adorable babies, all soft hues and pastel colors that bring out the best in our little bundles of joy.
Like many people recently, Amy discovered a Faceapp and decided to have a little fun with photo editing. However, instead of using it on her own selfie, she decided to try the smile filter on some of her baby photos - with the parents' permission, of course.
The results are... interesting, to say the least. The album is entitled 'If Babies Had Teeth,' and the images range from absolutely funny babies to downright creepy ones.
'I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I could have gone back and done this to every single cute baby that has ever come to my studio. Can't. Stop. Laughing,' she wrote on her Facebook page.

When you’re plotting to take over the world but trapped in a baby's body.
There bis no need for me to see the rest, I think they are UGLY, I value and love babies, as they are born !!!
I swear, if you look at all these images and think of them as pictures of naked pensioners.. you know the age where you just don't care if the world sees what you got anymore.. It's both scary and funny..
Oooooh he looks like a right cheeky monkey. Upto mischief for sure ha ha ha
"I'm from Shelbyville, IN. I've been a photographer for almost 11 years although I first learned how to use a film camera as a child and have always loved the art of photography." Amy told Bored Panda about her enduring passion. "I'm also a nurse, though I'm not currently working as one, I'm a full-time photographer now."
"While working as an ER nurse I often felt like so much was out of our hands. We could do everything possible to save someone but sometimes it just wasn't enough, no matter how hard we tried. I always felt a calling to photography because I felt like it was a way to create tangible memories for people and a way to "help" others even in the most helpless situations. I love to use my photography as a way to give-back to others."
"I remember sitting with a parent who had lost her most precious gift and wishing I could give her something in that moment. That's when I truly realized I wanted to pursue my love of photography. I love that I've been fortunate enough to capture so many milestones and memories for my clients and it means the world to me. Some of my clients have welcomed me into the most intimate moments of their lives and I'm so honored. I know in my heart this is what I was meant to do!"
"The biggest difference between working with newborns and other clients is the amount of patience it takes. You have to be extremely patient with newborns and it takes a lot of time to capture them in those perfect little positions. I tell other photographers all the time that if you don't truly love the art of newborn photography, don't do it. You have to absolutely have a passion for it in order to have the patience and dedication that it takes."
looks like one of those creepy realistic dolls whose eyes follow you
"For the' babies with teeth' series, I saw someone post a photo of their child using Faceapp and decided to try it on a few of my photos. When I realized how absolutely hysterical it was I just had to share with my followers!"
"I've made it my mission to try to always put positive and heartwarming content in my followers' news feeds. I feel like we are all bombarded with negativity and the depressing parts of the world we live in, and I love it when I have the chance to make people laugh and smile and forget all of that for a moment. I felt like these photos were a perfect way to do just that."
"I never guessed they would be so popular but I'm so glad they've brought smiles and laughter to so many people. Overall the internet has reacted in such a positive way. I've received countless emails and messages from people thanking me for brightening their day. That makes my heart so happy!"
"I would also like to add a thank you to all of the parents of these babies for being so understanding and allowing me to share these with the world. If it weren't for their beautiful babies these photos wouldn't be possible...and their babies are of course perfectly adorable without teeth!"

Oh dear christ, put that damn thing back under whatever bridge you dragged it out from
Yeah, I guess there’s a reason why human babies are born without teeth. To make their parents keep them.
Umm this is not cute or cool at all. I find it rather disturbing.
'She takes stunning pics of freshly baked babies.' I don't have a problem but isn't this line a bit... you know, disturbing?
Hey you misspelled terrifying it is not spelled h--y-s-t-e-r-i-c-a-l. That word has a completely different meaning that has nothing to do with any of these pictures.
Some of these are super cute, and others....well, thanks for the nightmares BP
These are funny. Most of them are still adorable. A couple were creepy, but overall I think it’s definitely a fun thing to do.
They all look like the old people who have dentures that are too big like my favorite aunt.
It's only weird because we're not used to seeing babies with teeth. If you step back and look at it for what it is, its kinda cute and funny!
This is SO FUNNY! I love it, they are so much cuter with those smiles :-)
Like if human babies were not ugly enough - you made them even more fugly :/ What's wrong with the species? Little kitties - sweet. Newborn puppers - sweet. Little platypuses? derp and sweet. And so on... But humans and monkeys? OMFG how ugly their babies are! creepy chubby worms with poped-out eyes. Mother nature - your design sucks.
I do not find it funny...I found it creepy and disturbing...makes me want to jump out of my skin. I like dark and scary and weird stuff...but this is just too creepy even for me.
What got me was that most of the teeth were oversized and looked like ill-fitting dentures.
I think it looks creepy. I’m obviously in the minority since they claim this is so popular. 🤷♀️
These pictures will haunt my nightmares. Between the "baby-folding" positions and the creepy teeth these things look like horror movie creatures.
This is so disturbing.. I think I'm going to have nightmares about this post... lol
Oh dear. I'm going to have nightmares about them! I'll never never babies the same way again.
do back to being a Nurse...helping more people this way....the Baby is hideous
I agree with C and Margie S., but I think these are beyond creepy, they're DISGUSTING. Some brands of dog food have an illustration on the package of a dog grinning with big human-like teeth instead of a nice smile with dog teeth. I always thought those were awful, but this is much worse, like nightmares.
As the american strongly believe that showing teeth is actually "smiling" I wonder what they really "see" or "understand" when all the other human of the planet try to smile at them . . .
Maybe using baby sized teeth would be a big improvement, but I just can't with the adult teeth!
This is just wrong in so many ways. I may need therapy after seeing these.
I'd like to see these pics of these angels without the teeth. not because I think it's "creepy" like the rest of you but because they're naturally adorable
