Baby Spa Perth is Australia’s first bath and massage parlor exclusively for – you guessed it – babies
Here, babies kick and float around to their heart’s delight in a warm bath with soft waves
The spa even boasts its own patented flotation device, the Bubby, which keeps babies comfy and safe
The experience allows parents and babies to bond in a relaxing environment for both parties
Not only is it adorable, but hydrotherapy for babies is extremely beneficial to their health
In the water, babies can move freely, which helps them develop muscle and bone strength
The sensations they feel while floating also prepare them for swimming lessons, and even walking
Plus, let’s be honest – it’s tough work being a brand new person, and sometimes you just need to relax
After their baths, babies are given a gentle massage with grape seed oil, moisturizing their skin
The water they float in is purified with ozone, which kills bacteria in shared basins, but is baby-safe
11.5k followers have already flocked to their Instagram page, and their photos are giving everyone baby fever
Though it’s the first of its kind in Australia, Baby Spas also exist in England, South Africa, and Spain

Share on Facebookthe babies are practically weightless in the water, the support not only keeps them afloat, but it keeps their necks stationary, which is very important. My friend's son did something similar in physical therapy as a baby. The babies love it!
Load More Replies...I agree babies in general are overrated. Everyone obsesses over them a far too much.
Load More Replies...I was a pediatric nurse & I love these pictures ! Parents, if you give your baby a back massage , be gentle , for the spine ,(and all baby's bones) are still not strong .
But do not use light ticklish touch. Moderate pressure better, not as annoying.
Load More Replies...Oh God, the idea of a flotation device holding a baby tightly around its neck and nothing else is giving me the freaking hives right now.
They're loving it, especially the baby getting the little back massage!
OMGosh all of these babies are just adorable in the bubby. I really love the smiling baby getting her massage with the oil. I can just feel the relaxation these precious tiny one feel after a day at the SPA. Such a clever idea.
For those complaining about the flotation device don't worry. It's medically approved equipment and is perfectly safe. It is used by many people who have kids who are paralysed or have brain injurys. The baby is fully supported and it does not hurt them at all. I mean do any of those kids look in pain? It's paid for by insurance too and as I said medically approved and maybe designed too. Stop panicking.
Medical proven for how long? Lord knows how.many things are medically proven then disproven years later. These poor babies are test dummies. I would never risk my babies welfare for comfort. I see no hands close to these babies in case of emergency either. I won't stop panicking over it. You must be one of those ninnys thar puts way too much faith in the medical field...enjoy that bubble your floating on, I feel bad for you when it pops
Load More Replies...Am I the only one who thinks those purple donut things look totally uncomfortable on the baby's heads and necks?
Babies are essentially weightless in water, and at such a young age it soothes then like they felt in the womb
Load More Replies...I wish they would make a floating device like that for adults. I'd use it!
OMG! I could work there totally for free. I can imagine the happy babies's sweet laughter that makes the their day EVERYDAY <3
I can't help wondering how they deal with the little accidents babies are subject to. Sorry kids, out of the pool!
Water floating will NOT increase bone strength, weightbearing does that. But they do move freely and the water resistance is good for muscle development.
Wish I could've gone there as a baby. I am scared of the water as an adult, and can never relax enough to swim in it--I always am short of breath.
I kinda look at this article several times a day because they are so cute
What an awesome way to create a chilled out toddler/child/grown up.
Hopefully the little flotation device isn't harmful for their neck or spine! Otherwise, the idea of baby spas is very nice and cute.
90% of their body weight is supported when submerged up to the neck. So little weight to pull on their necks.

Okay, that last photo just completely creeped me out. It looks good like, a great idea.
I really want to work at that place. Its so cute about how those babies are relaxing. SO CUTE!!
As cute as it is, has there been research on neck damage? What if the clips break or loosen and baby slips...just cus baby loves it does not mean it's risk free
How come its always the smart foreigners that come up with these incredible ideas? Have we no foresight in the U.S. Its no wonder we are the way we are, LOUD, rude, excessive, etc... If I could have once been one of these babies I probably wouldn't have turned out to be such a worrier, I worry about everyone and it just wears me out and helps no one. Floating and kicking and just being free may have led me to a less stressful life, who knows?
Huh?? Their skin is going to become dependent on the oil and that's why moisturizers are manufactured??? Um, ok then...
