My dog's the same.. She makes a bit of a fuss of me when I get home, jumping up at me and wagging her tail. But she soon runs straight to my dad. If she's in my room, however settled she looks, and you say "do you wanna go downstairs?" she gets straight up and runs to my bedroom door.
