No, actually, when you start a charitable crowdfunding campaign for a specific purpose, and you don't use the money for the purpose you stated, it's called fraud. It happens fairly often on GoFundMe, and it never works out for the scammers.

Did I say anywhere that it was the same? No. I said that every job requires some form of education. I did not state that everyone should be paid the same regardless of the service they supply. I merely stated that every job is important, no matter how small or insignificant you may believe it to be and the people who perform those jobs are deserving of respect.

I would argue that 'woke' does fit as 'woke' is one of those lovely terms that is used to diminish the value of another's beliefs or existence in the wake of their own. Every job requires some form of education. I would argue that no one walks into a grocery scanning position knowing how to operate a cash register or is prepared to deal with the number of a**holes they encounter over the course of their career. The point was that no person or job is more important than any other when it comes to the people who provide a needed or useful service.

I find the responses to 'shit like this happens in real life' hilarious. The 'wealthy', 'woke', 'educated' elitists and many normal everyday people as well tend to forget that the people who do the job of cleaning these messes are important as they look down at them from their lofty heights. In their push for everyone to be 'higher educated' (indoctrinated) they tend to forget that a) some people are not meant to sit in a classroom and learn how to manipulate others emotions... err, learn and b) the people who do your plumbing, building, garbage hauling, grocery scanning, farming, car repairs, bridge repairs, road repairs, welding and thousands of other under-recognized jobs helped to design, build, and continue to maintain this and every other civilized country in the world. c) They are worthy of our respect and acknowledgment. If you don't know who Mike Rowe is, now would be a great time to learn. :)

Hmm.. well, I actually think most of these women look perfectly fine and NORMAL in the before pics. It's great to be in good shape, but I think this post is making a lot of normal healthy women look (and maybe even feel) bad. The after pics are of women, for whom fitness is a lifestyle, who have the time, money and opportunity to focus a whole lot on their training. Obsessing over fitness is not necessarily healthy. And women are meant to have a certain amount of body fat by nature. Just stay healthy and happy, and maybe stop focusing so much on your looks.

When you order something in a restaurant it should be made the way you want it. No question there. I just wonder why some many people are allergic to so much these days. I'm an old man and when I was a kid everyone ate peanuts. All the kids drank whole milk because that's what they had in the school cafeteria. No one was allergic to gluten until 10 or 15 years ago and now they say 1% of Americans are. When I tried to find the cause for the sudden increase in gluten allergies I found explanations varying from better testing to increased use of insecticide. It is puzzling.

As a manager at a fast food restaraunt, it always amazed me how people think that just because they prepare food in a certain way at home, or can eat certain things, its ok for everyone else. I've sent employees home because they did not understand this. I've written people up, and they thought I was just insane cause the s..t doesn't happen to them. I wish I had this while I was a manager. I no longer work in a food business. Getting out was the best thing I've done. Cooks and waiters can all be childish at times. The job is usually stressful, so its really easy to think that one guest is just being an asshole. Simple solution if you work in the food business: do it according to procedure, and don't skimp on the orders just because you are tired or stressed out.

I'm a barista and I have in the past accidentally made regular milk lattes for people (only if it's busy or if it was a large order of multiple regular lattes and only one in almond or soy or decaf) I have literally grabbed a cup from a customer once as they were about to take a sip as I suddenly realize my mistake and I will offer to make another proper one free of additional charge. People are understandably shocked at first but are usually very thankful that I took it seriously. Usually it's someone who is only slightly intolerant and they say it's no big deal and that they'll take the one they got but then I'll make it free. I'm so scared of being super tired one day and making a grave mistake. I've got IBS so I definitely understand.

That's awful! If I had that allergy I'd be so unhappy because I'm not supposed to have a lot of sugar. When I make stuff for potluck I usually use sugar for the people who don't like or can't have sweeteners, but on Monday for the BBQ I brought strawberries with xylitol because most of my friends are really only against sucralose, nutrasweet, et al, but are pretty ok with stuff like stevia or xylitol or monk fruit. It never occurred to me those could be a problem. I consider myself educated for next time; only real sugar at parties or at least label stuff.
