And even if suggesting bleaching her skin was not something incredibly racist and unacceptable, it would be very stupid, especially for someone who works in an industry like fashion, where every trait that makes your beauty extraordinary and unique is really precious. It is not only her skin color that makes her beautiful of course - I mean, look at that hot body and perfect face - but it is what makes her truly stand out among other beautiful models and I do not know how that would be undesirable.

Plus, the whole idea of "modesty" as a virtue is inherently sexist. I think that both women and men should take into consideration the kind of place or event they are going to and if possible what is appropriate for the weather when picking an outfit. That means that you would not go to school or a place of worship in the same clothes that you would wear to the beach or club, or that a workplace which requires formal wear means that women should use formal shoes, uncomfortable as they may be, and men should wear suit&tie even in the weather is hot. This also means that you are never allowed to be fully naked in public unless you are in a place for nudists. But the idea that "covering up" is somehow preferable per se to "showing off" is unacceptable to me: once you respect the dress code - be it specific or very generic, like when you are out and about in the city and all you have to do is not be naked - the amount of skin you choose to show does not say anything about your morals.
