NO alcohol during pregnancy. It is NOT that hard to refrain from a substance that you do not NEED to survive. I drink regularly and I love my glass of wine at the weekends, however, I would absolutely cut ANY alcohol off during pregnancy. I know that even doctors dispute heavily whether small amounts of alcohol in the last trimester of pregnancy are okay, but I would not risk it. The damage that can be done is severe and unrevocable.

And as a psychologist, I have heard multiple stories from men and women being abused or being the abuser (after having been the former, very often). Understandable? Sometimes, yes. Does it justify it? Certainly no. The positive message is: Even if you have been the abuser, you can 100% change for the better, despite your history.

My partner has been hit a 2-3 times in my presence by other drunk males within a time span of 11 years of our relationship. He has only once raised his hands (when I was attacked), never when he alone was hit. I can vividly remember one occurence when one guy (completely drunk and high) tried to hit him again whilst his companion tried to talk him out of it and my partner just calmly staring at him. I was absolutely furious that I could not intervene/ or would not out of fear that the aggression would once again been turned at him - but even more proud of him for being the better man.

German: It is more like: Okay you have like three components. One has to be meat of any kind, prob. pork. One is potatoes or less often, noodles. One is veggies, but no one cares, prob kale. Your Grandma is the only one who can me the perfect gravy to that. It sounds really easy, but it takes 5 hours to make it and needs equipment they sell on ebay for vintage. The recipe sounds exactly as complicated as this post.
