Judith Barsi, she was just a young girl with a life ahead of her who voiced the cutest little dinosaur. Her grave stone reads 'yep, yep, yep.'
What happened:
Judith Barsi, a young actress known for her roles in films like "The Land Before Time" and "All Dogs Go to Heaven," tragically died on July 25, 1988, at the age of 10. She was murdered by her father, who also killed her mother, before taking his own life

Quirky one: I have a regular day job, but I also teach English as a Second Language to Gulf nationals, in particular Saudi families. I receive a lot of gifts, but one boy I tutored came from a family who owns some of the most expensive racing camels in the Gulf. The father buys and sells these animals that are over six figures. When the son graduated, the father allowed me to choose a camel that would be mine, and designated as not for sale. I have a racing camel in Saudi Arabia that lives probably in better conditions than I do.EmergencyM reply
During college I worked at a place selling very high end patio furniture in the richest DC suburb. One day a Washington Redskin comes in and buys a custom patio furniture set for his deck and pool area, total cost for 10 pieces was over $24,000. He paid cash and I set up delivery for 6 weeks later because the furniture had to be made at the manufacturer. Three weeks later he was cut by the team. I called when the order came in and he said "oh, I'm in the Caribbean now, think I'm selling that hous3, think I'm going to retire...you like the furniture?" Me: "yeah". Him, "you can have it, thanks for being a fan". 14 years later and I still have that furniture and the fanciest patio setup in my middle class neighborhood!completehogwash reply
I went to a birthday party in 3rd grade. Every girl in the 3rd grade was invited. So 80 girls were picked up in limos, taken to build a bear where we could choose any bear, then we all got manicures and pedicures, we went to Red Robin for dinner, and limoed back to her mansion for a sleepover. I will never attend a party that fancy ever again.anon reply

In 1933, a doctor named Carl Tanzler raided the tomb of a female patient with whom he'd become obsessed and stole her body. He lived with the corpse for seven years. As the body fell apart, he attached the corpse's bones together with wire and coat hangers, and fitted the face with glass eyes. He was only caught when someone saw him dancing with the corpse in front of an open window.CrazySnekGirl reply
People with dementia just... forget how to eat one day. They forget how to swallow. We don't know if they feel starvation or pain, because they're too far gone. My brother works in a dementia care facility, and they know that a patient is gonna die soon when they eventually refuse food. And we don't euthanise them. They just... starve. To death. And they never tell the families that. Edit: I'm *so* sorry to those that have lost loved ones to dementia. It's a really cruel and heartless way to die.ServingTheMaster reply
In 2018 my sister was murdered. We know who did it. We keep track of where he lives, he has moved 4 times since my sister disappeared. The police also know he did it. There’s not enough evidence to bring him in or charge him. Her body has still never been found. If I go after him he becomes the victim and I won’t be able to be a father to my children. He gets to be alive every day. He’s a serial rapist. We suspect my sister was not his first murder. From our interactions with state police and FBI my impression is that our situation, while a nightmare, is perhaps not as rare as you would normally assume or hope.brackenish1 reply

Terminal lucidity is the return of mental clarity or memory or consciousness shortly before death. This happens to around 10% of people with dementia. :[.IAmNotScottBakula reply
Yell at your vacuum cleaner to get your dogs to stop barking at it. Apparently it helps your dogs realize that you are dominant over the vacuum so they stop trying to protect you from it. Sounds like BS, but I literally did it once and it was never a problem again.30 Students And Parents Call Out Their Teachers Who Were So Wrong, They Shouldn’t Be Teaching Anyone

Michael Keaton- he was filming a movie in our neighborhood. While all the other actors would run to their trailers between scenes, he would sit on the curb and BS with anyone who wanted to. Very down to earth guy.lesser-known-celebrity-passing-affected-people
