Threatening to kill yourself to an ex is the very definition of emotional abuse. He had no plans to kill himself. He wasn't telling anyone else he was going to kill himself. Just the one he wanted to inflict pain on. This is manipulative, and it's deliberate. People who kill themselves don't threaten, they just do it. He gets no pass for this. If your ex is threatening to kill themselves, the next call should be to the police. They can apprehend the person and put them in a psych ward for a couple of days for evaluation. Don't play the game of getting emotionally involved with this manipulative behaviour.

I liked this untill the end. Sometimes humans get hurt in stupid ways. It's not their fault for not being a professional athlete. S**t just happens. And you know? Swimming is important but sometimes people aren't taught the things they should be taught. It happens. Not being taught something and refusing to learn are two different things.

This person obviously isn't aware of how horrible affordable nursing homes are. Many employees aren't paid well and abuse or steal from the patients. Both of my parents worked in homes and saw it happen. A good nursing home is only affordable to upper middle class and higher. It's not the old peoples choice most of the time anyway. It's the children who love their parents and want to make sure nothing happens to them.

In a way this does a great job of pointing out racism. The disparities in money between minorities and white people. From the companys point of view the act of putting locks on the items isn't racist, they're just trying to keep the most stolen items from being stolen. It's annoying for management and workers to put locks on the items. They aren't doing it for fun. They are doing their jobs, protecting products. Trying to keep them there for the people who actually want to pay for the items. It's not racist in itself, but it is a symptom of a much bigger problem outside of the store. I worked at a craft store and we had to start locking up feather boas. If a particular store has too high a rate of theft, it isnt the thieves that get blamed by the company, it's the people who work in the store that get blamed. Even though they aren't allowed to accuse, follow, or even ask someone to stop shop lifting or they could lose their jobs. What are people supposed to do?
