Again the reason there’s so much sugar in American Food because during the during the 70s or 80s I really don’t remember there’s whole ad campaign against “fat” propagated by the sugar companies no less stating that fat was a source of fat in our bodies and so people went to alternatives and what replaced all that fat, it was sugar and because it will essentially propaganda was so good at being propaganda we really haven’t recovered also a lot of food companies America blatantly lie to us and most of us don’t even realize it

Having worked for a religious organization for the better part of 20 years, yeah, I can relate. Think "church." I am a Christian, so I can truly say that in the time I worked there, I witnessed and endured a lot of un-Christ-like behavior. Grandstanding, arrogance, catering to the parishioners who placed the largest check in the collection plate, just to name a few issues. The final straw was when they decided to put a permanent freeze on the cost-of-living increases. I have never before or since seen so many employees jump ship so fast. Being the last holdout (with no other prospects at the time), I got the royal treatment: "job evaluations," write-ups for my "attitude," being left out of meetings. When I was shown the door, that was Emancipation Day. I don't know if they ever got a replacement, and I don't care. All I know is that I will NEVER be that stupid again.

It’s just a personal choice I guess. To me my children are hilarious, fun, they teach me new things everyday and have brought me more love that I can ever have imagined. They are also tiring at times, impact my finances and may limit my freedom a bit, but that is a tiny compromise for me in comparison to what I get from them. To me it’s worth it 100 times over. That said I have enormous respect for whatever people want to do regarding kids, they aren’t for everyone and it makes me mad that some people feel life cannot be full and amazing if you’re not a parent, hopefully this mindset is shifting nowadays. I have many friends who don’t have kids by choice and they love their lives, I love my life too with kids. Different strokes for different folks!

I hate how some people call women vain because they don't want to ruin their bodies to have kids. All the power to you if you think motherhood is worth it and it's true that our bodies don't define us, imperfections don't make us any less of a human. But it's not just about the looks. So many women deal with problems from holding their pee to scars that hurt. Our body is part of who we are and we should be allowed to say I don't want to damage it. If impregnating a woman put men at a 50% risk of ripping their urethra and gave them lifelong problems peeing you bet your a*s modern medicine would invest heavily into research to deal with this problem. And yet many women are still to this day hastily stitched up after they tear during childbirth and lots of doctors still don't give a s**t.

I was once told that a dr office could not take a partial payment of a bill I owed. They said you need to pay it all right now or go to collections. I said "no problem" I just need it in writing that you will not accept this money that I am trying to pay you right now. The guy kept saying no, you have to pay it all now. I said "no problem, I just need it in writing that you will not accept this money as it is not enough." He knew as well as I did he could not turn down my partial payment or I could simply go to court and say I tried to pay and the Judge would throw out their case. I paid off that bill as slowly as I could without going to collections or receiving a late notice.
