Woman Throws A Puppy At A Man, He Refuses To Give It Back And Shares How Happy The Doggy Is Now

She's clearly cracked out. And he's extremely calm b/c he's a black man dealing with a white women: calling or dealing with cops is not really an option. I worked with dogs: most puppies will go to anyone safe, esp if they're feeling threatened, which he was.

I was wondering the same thing: people who ARE rich don't need to fundraise to pay for their pet's expenses. I am not rich and could pay for vet's and other bills associated with owning a dog. So my guess: he's not rich or it's a scam (setting up a GoFundMe). Regardless though, he handled the situation with this cracked out stranger incredibly well.

One of my female friends is very light skinned, blonde hair and blue eyes - she's also half-Mexican. I can't event imagine the racist stuff she's heard growing up. I've had folks who know I have a Jewish background and those who don't know my last name (which is very Jewish) say anti-Semitic things to me. Fortunately there isn't any history of Jews being persecuted so I am not so shocked ;-)

Hi Stephanie and everyone! This is Pablo from the story. Let me first say that I totally agree with you on removing kids from families just based on their economic income. As a Social Worker I'm aware that in many places that is something very common. In Argentina Child Protective laws specifically prohibit to take a kid away from a family based exclusively on their income or social class. I can assure you and everyone posting that in our story, this was NOT the case. For reasons I decided not to mention to protect Mia's privacy and dignity, the family court had to make the decision of including her in the adoption list. What I can tell you is that the Child Protective Service here took her case when she was a newborn (4 days) and they worked for almost a year with her family to think of different strategies to guarantee a safe, caring and healthy development for Mia, and they couldn't succeed. After that the decision to look for adoptive parents was taken. Cheers!

Ok this might prove to be an unpopular opinion but if that Mercedes is his car, why was a GoFundMe created to attend to the dog's need? If you can afford that car, surely you can afford to pay for the dog yourself? Do people start GoFundMe's for just about anything these days? But since it paid out in less than 8hrs...I guess people will fund just about anything.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you and others on this. Parking in both notes are almost identical. It seems like everyone wants their 5 minutes of fame (without having to accomplish anything).

Good to know I am not the only person who has thought this before. I find it interesting when photographers take amazing photos of beautiful people - to me, that's easy. How about taking photos of people who are not traditionally beautiful - I would be more impressed with amazing photos of those folks than those who are pretty. And there are people who are not considered traditionally beautiful, who are actually photogenic. (And I am saying this as someone who is considered attractive but am really not photogenic.)
