The most ridiculous thing that happened with a former shitty neighbour was the police showing up because of a fridge our neighbour claimed to be way too loud. I asked the policemen if they're going to arrest the fridge and we all laughed, but this was just the beginning of her complaining about EVERYTHING we did in our flat above hers. TV? Too loud. Talking? Too loud. Walking around? How dare you! Another neighbour told me, shitty neighbour was the one playing music at max volume in the middle of the night before she had a baby, slamming the door shut when the police showed up because she just shouted at everyone trying to reason with her. We had a war going on for several months in which I had a nervous breakdown every time the doorbell rang. In the end, she moved out and I had a party after I realized she's finally gone.

I've actually had the pleasure of hanging out with this wonderful man a few times whilst clubbing in Soho, London. He's a good friends with some of my friends. His whole mantra is just love and positivity! Bouncers and clubs know him, he is treated like royalty in Soho and he just spends his time going around spreading love and good vibes around the streets and in clubs. I did that myself. I was a librarian, who had polio as a child. I was issued a parking space, with a sign, close to the library, and working shifts, some days I'd start later, only to find somebody parked in my space, so I'd just park behind their car. Then a very p'd off driver would come in to ask indignantly, 'Who has blocked me in?' Very innocently, I'd ask, 'Where?' Then they'd mumble something about 'Around the corner.' It took some time, but after that, my parking space was mine again!

Pot dealer in my neighborhood in NOLA handed out care packages at the beginning of the pandemic to the homeless who lived in our neighborhood.. gave them masks, sanitizer, Clorox wipes, gloves, canned foods, dog food for their animals, cleans clothes, socks, underwear. We only knew he was doing this because he asked for clothing and female product donations from some of the women (myself included) in the neighborhood because he didn't know wtf to get for the homeless women. So we bought boxes of tampons, pads, deodorant, wipes etc. n he put them all together in backpacks and duffel bags he got from the store n put signs up to tell the homeless people in the area to come to his house for supplies. I also witnessed him forcing the ppl he was selling to to put on masks before approaching. I don't condone selling drugs. I'm a recovering addict... but like.. atleast he's giving back. He also doesn't sell hard drugs btw. Just weed n pills. Pills are still bad. But it's not heroin.
